Oh, there’s been one in every expansion. I’m sure TWW will have one too.
I’ve actually imagined strangling the dev who apparently is still 5 years old and thinks having our characters pick through

Yeah, the game didn’t have this much life to it before. It’s great.
Although I did pick berries out of poop, and did a lot with poop (oddly), and gave out quests as a quest-giver, and collected ingredients for recipes, and stuff like that. We’ve always done that sort of thing.
I don’t hate it.

You know I really disliked Thrall and often wished I could have kicked him off the edge while helping him find a weapon in the Maw. Then I had to work with Moira and my god, she was constantly talking down and dismissive towards us. But then she is a queen and honestly I wouldn’t have expected any less

Not really after it in my RPGs though and certainly not as a part of the “heroic main story.” You know that you can just ask for overtime, right?
Sorry guys but previously the expansion story was the bastion away from this nonsense and you had the rest of the game for it. Now you want the main story to devolve into poop gathering quests because “they’ve always been here” and I’m sick of it.

I think it’d be really meta if there was a quest to make us look over a document where people leave messages for each other in the community and have to investigate the bad messages left on the document. It wouldn’t be a sifting through soft served icecream quest but it may as well be.

I’m one of the few people that will acknowledge there is nothing to achieve from this game and even less to achieve from the forums. You and I are both netting a negative in life for every +1 we make.

I hated Vanilla for a lot of the reasons people are suddenly whining about newer expansions. So I comment about how there weren’t any golden days, and they’re all huffing nostalgic copium. There is no ulterior motive.

What I love about wow is that it does its own thing. It’s not like ffxiv, it’s not like swtor, it’s not like eso, it’s not like destiny.
We are adventurers/soldiers of the horde/alliance. People got upset when we became all important gods who could not be stopped, now people are mad we’re back to just being normal adventurers and soldiers? Make it make sense.
