Does WoW Classic (2019) deserve its own new expansion?

Is Shadowlands removing stuff like LFR and Cross-realm, and unnerfing all the vanilla content? (honest question, I’m not following retail since classic was released)

If not, then I don’t know how you are reaching the conclusion that I’m asking for Shadowlands.

I didn’t realize that your version of Classic+ does removes cross realm, and does not implement LFR.

Indeed, what you mean when you say Classic+ and what others mean seems to vary greatly.

I didn’t know the popular idea of Classic+ would include those things. In that case, I would take TBC for sure.

Oh, I didn’t mean to suggest that it necessarily would. I suppose I don’t really know exactly what people mean when they say Classic+.

If it is simply additional content to Classic, and no other changes, that may be interesting. However, there would most likely be changes in that case, even if simply due to higher stat gear.

I suppose that my point was that Retail has continued from where Classic left off, and we are currently where we are now. Shadowlands is coming out soon. We will see if the popularity of Classic will have any affect on Shadowlands or upcoming expansions.

Tinker comes in bfa. Pirate islands come in bfa in the form of island expeditions

There is a secret 13th class in BFA?

I thought there was a small chance Classic would make them so much money, they’d put a new development team into it. Tweak TBC and Wrath a little using their time travel goggles. Maybe nerf TBC resto druids and SL/SL a tiny bit, tweak racials abit to encourage 50/50 faction splits, avoid eventually giving every class too many gap closer/jump, self heal, disengage. Do whatever it takes to completely trash beastcleave.

You know, make even more money the second time around as if it were a new title/franchise. An alternative wow timeline would arise, and this time Cataclysm never exists. Everything else onward would be brand new. But no it was all just a pipe dream. Pretty damn obvious they aren’t gonna.

If you could get the entire original dev team, and totally take control away from corporate, and allow them to build the game their way rather than how corporate directs; then I would play that.

Exactly, End Wow after Shadowlands and when it ends release Wrath for 2 years then they only got about 3 years before they could have a new MMORPG out.

We going on 16 years of WoW, thats crazy its almost old enough to drive, it time to make something new.

Be scary to see what a new MMORPG would look like though from ACT/BLIZZ

Hopefully Pantheon is everything we hope it will be.
