Just wondering if upgrading your tier through the vendors in icc removes the gems and enchants from them. Couldn’t find any info about it so probably not but I’d rather make sure.

It was this way back in Wrath. Basically you are TRADING 251 item AND a token for new 264 item. Nothing is removed. It’s a new item.
You are trading in your item for a new item. The new one won’t have anything on it. Really not a loss if you’ve already used the original item for a while.
