The coding for the draenei tends to draw out people who really want to project certain real-world positions onto them because that’s safer than saying what they actually mean right out.
At least, it was until a couple years ago.

Not to like, be That Person, but I’m reminded of that thing I said in Sarestha’s thread about people losing basically all understanding of social justice and empathy and like, common sense, when it comes time to apply those values to fiction.
When so much time, money, and effort is going into convincing people that certain groups are entirely hypothetical “others,” whose personhood exists only in the realm of thought experiment, it’s in our best interest to at least try to apply our values consistently.
As the official arbiter here to determine how the Draenei should be punished so we can resolve this ordeal once and for all…
I mandate that all druids must shift into cat form and whack them on the tail precisely once. I believe this is a fitting ‘punishment’ so we can get back to agreeing the orcs should be bankrupted by paying reparations.
Nonsense. Retrial. RETRIAL!
locks Alayxis in Dalaran, as is tradition to do with angry belf mages
My people will freeeee meeeeeeeee
rattles bars in the violet hold… despite them being… force fields
Same kinda shmucks who complain about international banking cabals and other things that make my dog lose his mind.
Classic story. There’s a table with 13 cookies on it. The first guy quickly grabs 10 cookies. The next grabs 2. The last guy is left with one cookie. Guy one says to guy three, “hey, that guy has one more cookie than you”.
Torn between observing how nice it is that a character whose name rhymes with Bathanos Delighthauler hasn’t shown up yet and the weird, cryptic fear that speaking his name will ensure he does show up.
He’s in the sword Sylv is pushing on Anduin. Soon, he and Anduin will become Nathanduin.
Back to Violet Hold with you too for this cursed idea!
Begone, unholy post!
I wonder if he was benched due to people pointing out how similar he was to his creator, and then later making fun of the number of bare-footed, blue-skinned women said creator had on his Twitter feed.
I beg your pardon.
Put your gee dee mask back on.
Of all the times for you to go out in public without a mask!
Honestly, I can’t take you anywhere.
Danuser.
I’m sickened but curious.
Yeah but they aren’t KILLING the Mag’har, was my point.
Meanwhile, Not-Thrall comments that they have to put down Ogre Rebellions on a semi-regular basis.
A tad doubtful, given you don’t do what the psycho Naaru want you to and not break a few eggs, and they sure as hecc weren’t throwning marshmellows.
That said, there is a lot of break down there since the biggest issue of it is we haven’t explored it. We don’t know if it’s simply mind control which can be broken (which even so, we all know slavery is wrong) or if the process of doing so (and what Xe’ra was likely trying to do to Illidan) utterly erases everything to make them into a carbon copy of what one desires with no way to reverse it.
I swear I recall something about the Mag’har clans being decimated. Which sounds like killing. But I can’t recall for certain.
Gosh I wish they did do some killing. A bit sick of the Alliance being purely good and the Horde being truly evil.
