Seriously, I feel like whenever I return to using the forums I get very defensive about my arguments even if I am getting convinced about the other side, and sometimes I also get really annoyed because posts are usually the same things over and over.
Also, whenever someone ends up being friendly instead of debating me, I instantly mark said person as a best friend I never had a conversation with.

Some forum goers are passive aggressive masters.
Personally never had a problem with it… maybe cause i never played human paladin before.

I get really defensive IRL (need to work on it XD)
I don’t get defensive IRL, I avoid debating anyone because that means having to be around someone else more than I have to, and I hate that =v
I’m generally non-combative even if I have a different opinion than another forum goer. Everyone likes different things, etc. 
Unless they’re being outright rude for no discernible reason.
I also don’t shut up about Sethrak. So I apologize to all of you who have to see my overtly passionate posts about them.
I think it shows the passion people have for this game and how deeply it effects them when they see changes they don’t like to the game.
I used to and I can definitely see why you’d feel that way. These days I just couldn’t care less and tend to just wash my hands of whatever it is. I just don’t have the energy to waste pointlessly talking to a wall.
Some of us have Scorpio moons, perceiving slight from things is like my nature. Defensive is an understatement for me oops.
Not huge on the hole astrology thing, but I am also Scorpio, guess there is that then? =/
I have been guilty of being defensive and over reacting.
I’m normally able to catch myself and will take a break from GD when I do.
I try to be the laid back happy and friendly advice giving Paladin, but sometimes I’ll drop my hammer on my toe and I’ll want to slam my shield into someones head, so to speak 
Yeah, I was actually on a huge BFA hiatus, came back because new datamining stuff and wanted to see what was the general opinion about things.
I feel like the forum is constantly on fire.
I think people getting defensive is dumb.
The way the community wants to gatekeep customization from races they don’t like.
But it’s an xpac about new customization…so it’s natural people are going to go crazy.
Oh just you wait my friend, we have Covid to deal with, and we have a new expansion on the way AND it’s an election year, it’s not even warm in here yet, but the flames are incoming, no doubt about that! 
Times grow too paranoid of boredom. Although RNG in general is going bye bye, I will miss the extra resources obtained from scrapping random gear.
Truth be told, I honestly hope the Valor Point system and vendors make a return.

Oh, I feel that, a break from GD is a huge part of enjoying the game for me, whenever I am here I find myself having more fun complaining about the game than playing it.
Right? I mean, in my opinion, 2020 is already over, I am ready for the pain 2021 will bring me at this point.
Leo Sun here. But yeah I definitely attribute my defensive nature, to my scorpio moon and cancer rising. shrugs the forums just makes a lot of stuff open to interpretation, and some people are just more defensive then others in that regard.
