Do people that own physcial authenticator need to move over to app? Bunch of us are still holding on to one. Clarification please since the support article says nothing about physcial authenticator.

No. The physical authenticator is not affected by this change. However, the physical authenticator is no longer available and when the battery dies you will need to use the Battle.net Mobile App to continue using the Authenticator feature.

I’d still suggest you do move over though, the batteries on those are way past their estimated life.

What’s going to “remove” your keyfob authenticator is inevitable battery failure, and if you let it happen before switching to the supported authentication method, it’s going to be a severe pain to fix.
