You guys say you’re stuck in Bastion when it’s only like 2 actual hours or less of gameplay. Get over it. Drama is right. If you want to talk about how Maldraxxus is the ugliest zone they ever made, then I’m on board.

Yes. Bastion, while pretty, is pretty bland. Maldraxas comes next and the pace and excitement pick up. But it’s not as polished of a zone. The meat is in Ardenweald, polished and pretty with lavish story. Then comes Revendreth. Which I’m just starting, but so far it’s interesting.
As someone that’s going Necrolord, I was saddened that the map and story telling didn’t seem to have the polish and depth as Ardenweald. Which clearly shows where a lot of effort went.
tl;dr - yes story picks up after Bastion.
