Tbh I’ll never really get into the leveling experience, questing just ain’t fun for me
Bastion was really… bland to me. The terrain was all washed out pastels. Just… meh.
Maldraxxus however… I loved it. Something about fighting swarms of undead nonstop is just really, really entertaining.
Ardenweald was a resounding meh. I didn’t really pay much attention to any storyline outside of the Wildseed (I won’t spoil it… but it becomes obvious REAL quick).
Revendreath has the same issue as Nagrand did in WoD… it’s gigantic and mazelike making it ridiculous trying to cover ground on foot.
I would advise just doing the 2.25 levels per zone and do main quests only. If you are 55 you are going to have to do a lot more quests than necessary to get to 60.

I’ve always enjoyed the levelling experience even in the “bad” expansions. However this one bored so much I can’t even be bothered playing after reaching 60.
well, here’s a tip, you don’t have to do any quests but the campaign quests and you’ll still hit 60 by the end. if you do all side quests, you’ll end up having to keep doing campaign quests anyways.
I really liked Bastion & Ardenweald and can’t decide which one to go with for the Covenant ability.
Bastion I sort of like the Larion lions and with Ardenweald I like the buff that allows us to double jump and fly around the map that were found while on the quest [Blooming Villains]
I’m in your position right now. I’m so bored I’ve been playing in short bursts just hoping the next quest in Bastion will be my last. I seriously hope it gets better…

Although personally I enjoyed the lack of “kill X of these” and “collect x of these from the corpses of these”

I couldn’t stand Maldraxxus, would have gone back to Bastion in a heart beat if not on rails.
I was hoping I could skip it entirely with threads of fate… nope.
Blue man cult was more fun than a whole DK themed zone for DK mains to me.
Ardenweald wins.
I didn’t think Bastion was boring at all. It was very calming, and then it turned extremely unsettling with the brain washing cult.
It’s well written and introduces a lot of existential terror.
i really like bastion the kyrians are my covenant of choice.

Dude, I can’t tell you if your life gets better after Bastion. I’m sorry. You seem pretty unhappy though so if I was forced to guess I’d say changing areas in an imaginary world is probably not going to have a significant impact on ones state of mind.
I wish you the best though in your career as a bored Shaman. I am certainly not qualified to dispense advice but having a few pals to joke around with makes WoW more fun.
I found bastion relaxing from a visual point of view and didn’t really have an issue with the quests there.
Speaking from my own point of view I’ve been enjoying the campaign so far. Basically it’s what you make of it.

Only do campaign quests and you should have left bastion at 53 54 max. Only do campaign qiests
I agree OP. I am finding it difficult to continue playing. So far, outside of the starting quests in the Maw, I haven’t put more than an hour into playing since SL launched. Just can’t get motivated to play, I’m bored.
Really hoping it gets better after Bastion, if I can even get motivated to continue playing for more than 15 minutes at a time.
Not true, I was one bubble into 57 and ran out of campaign until I hit 58.
I actually really liked Bastion and the dark undertones - I’m interested in the Forsworn as I see myself agreeing with them and hoping to find common ground between the two factions.
I found Maldraxxus boring and generic. just scourge game of thrones with no compelling characters.
I wish Ardenweald could just not be getting corrupted - nature is brutal and deadly as is, every pretty druid foresty zone gets corrupted somehow.
