Since patch, when I see them in epic BGs they are more front line, more dangerous, and more long lived. But they are not, at least there, super OP.
So in the PvP modes I’ve seen, when well played, they are something to respect and be aware of (warriors are too). I get the feeling Blizz did well with them this season so far (same with warrior).
tell that to WW’s dying before locks, Arms jumping behind every LoS to get globalled, and Priests never using dome, both charges of PS or Swap (not bound).
Most people cheese their shuffle rating from last season and just ride the inflation wave. We get it, you have people to q 3’s with, I never will or going to attempt to waste time looking in LFG.

insanely mobile melee dps that do giga burst damage, have MS and can set up their own cc with long stuns or multiple ccs in a row dominating is not a surprise i think. damage probably needs to be tuned, cant speak for dh much havent seen too many but ww and probably fury are a bit too insane. ww survivability is also disgusting, and i still think their knockup pvp talent needs to be removed or just not slow fall, that was invented purely to be annoying.
maybe they just remove ms entirely or give ms to all melee man idk it seems too strong and too comp limiting with only 3 melee not having it at this point. might help narrow the difference between good and op melee but idk, probably just a damage thing.
No… the skill ceiling has been omega raised with the intricacies of Aldrachi Reaver, you’ll notice this on the ladder. If you take a DH,WW,Feral,and Fury of the same skill, DH is probably 3rd or 4th on that list for most damage. Taking this into account, DH just dies unlike the other melee.
You are definitely dying through blur and you are potentially dying through darkness from those other melee. A good DH has to use their mobility and CC to duke it out with the other melee and they do not win straight brawls.
I mean the best melee right now are WW, Ferals, DH, Assa, Fury that’s top of the line currently.
Not sure about frost dk, since the devs really tried hard to give them something outside of 1 min burst to dig themselves right back inta that same hole.
WW being the best out of all. Id say feral/dh follows closely by.
I would much rather monk just have another cc button on a semi long cd than this knock but I also dont think monk even needs that with how mobile it is? disable, sweep and incap is probably good enough when considering monk mobility no? The knock is terrible and far more frustrating than any singular bit of cc in the game at least to me. it also puts my gust of wind on cooldown despite it not moving me anywhere when the monk presses knock the same global i press gust. but overall its just not fun
No, just because of mobility doesn’t mean monk should have the worst stun setup in the game.
That’s an argument for defensives than anything.
Monk use to be a control class, now it’s usually just when their dmg is high are they useful.
When before they could do a good alternate for warrior and rogue comps.

Even though the whirling has done some funny things for me
