Does gear matter in PVP? How so?

Okay so looking at your Achievements/History in PVE/PVP Jugaa. You are the very definition of a Casual player. You have no impressive raid achievements of any kind, Or even “slight” impressive such as AOTC’s. You have never killed a Mythic boss at content. You have over 300 wins in RBGs yet your highest rating ever achieved is 1800. You have no history in M+. Your extent to Arenas is 1750, your character never has even been above 1800 in Arenas other than 5s which no one took seriously.

You want to talk about the different forms of the game, And who is casual and who is not, as well as “when the game became casual and spoil people” Yet you are the glaring definition of a Casual player. You do not partake in any form of high end content, not even close. You have over 600k HKs and yet your opinion on PVP is that gear should stay RNG and not be locked behind actual Skill walls? Why? Because you couldn’t obtain it then?

Also on your comment of PVE can’t pick gear. Yes i can. as was stated by someone else previously.

I can run +15s and Target the exact 3 Azerite pieces at 440 (And actually BUY them directly) i want on my Rogue. I also can target gear that i want from raids/M+ By class stacking and removing the “chance” feature almost entirely.
These are things Mythic raiders such as Limit/Method have done to easily obtain the gear they want and to remove some of the RNG of loot.

Now lets go back to pre-personal loot PVE. Raiders WANT to work towards gear upgrades until they are done with content. It is by nature the exact style of play you do/want because the entire point of Raiding is to overcome a Static fight, and eventually clear it with ease which usually comes with gear/practice.

Now in PVP? This isn’t the case we do NOT want RNG gear. Because we dont want RNG of “OH look home boy has more gear than me, guess im probably going to die/lose”

So please until you actually know the subject. Stop talking.
