Yeah not sure who’s brain dead idea it was to make them drop 554’s with no upgrade path instead of 558’s. But that’s where we are.
You have to do WQ’s that drop gear and Rares (which can drop up to 577’s) and other weeklies.

You talk to an npc to trigger the leveling campaign skip. You should also have some warblund items to buff up, and greens on the ah go a long way. World quest items, black temple timewalking raid and you have another champion and hero piece. Its not that bad, youre just doing it wrong

Not to my knowledge. My main has reached 80 but my first alt is only at 76 so I don’t know for sure.
It is very true. You must not have played actual Vanilla WoW. The grind in vanilla was 3897342 times worse. From certain attunements to rep to gold to just get the epic mount and riding skill to farming mats for your resist gear that was needed etc. Even level to 60 was looooooong.
So yeahhhh. If you think today’s WoW is more grindy then you absolutely never played Vanilla WoW.
So, it’s not more grindy at all. 567 is easily obtainable. If you are stuck at level 3 delves, because you didn’t finish the campaign, then go finish the campaign. Once you do it one time you never do it again. Finish the campaign and you can play the game.
Who doesn’t finish the campaign on their first character? That’s wild to me.
This post you made isn’t a complaint worth speaking of. All your issues are your own, not a community issue. There is no grind. Well the only grind I see is leveling up professions. Come on guy, you get to skip practically everything.

Classic = arcade style that has no real bearing on what retail or even vanilla actually was / is.
Yup, that coupled with “I just want to play the game” blew me away. You’ve always needed to do the main story line in every expansion to open everything. Who knows, you might even get gear along the way, spoilers ahead.
I was done with the main story, and pathfinder at 77, what grind? Come on OP, PLAY THE GAME!

Black temple > time walking quest rewards > bloody coins > one bit of crafted > LFR > world quests > delves (2 as 2 man, 1 3 man and 1 solo)

No, you want to jump to heroics so you can queue in dungeons and then queue in lfr without leaving Dornogal. Every single thing you need to do is marked on the map as a quest or a world quest. It’s an MMORPG and you’re treating it like you should sit in a matchmaking lobby. It’s world of warcraft, go have fun in the world. Do the blue quests. Do the world quests, and guess what you do while you’re doing that? You collect your mats and do side quests for rep which gives you 594 gear and warbounds for the rest of your characters. That’s playing the game.
Just run regular dungeons for valorstones and buy the crests to craft 590 gear

Change those bloody coins with the vault, I got a weapon, we traveled the same path. yea, it’s really not that difficult.

You can get to that ilvl with just world quests honestly. It is what I did on 3 characters and it is very fast. It gives you direct 574 drops, rep for some epics, and currencies for upgrade and purchases. You do not need to any weird grinding, just normal casual play doing typical rep tasks that take next to no time. I have so much 574 warbound gear banked it will fully equip my next 5 alts too. I work full-time and sometimes do not play for 1 to 2 days. I cannot log huge amounts of hours. It is absolutely not grindy.
Delves drop hilariously high ilvl and you get the keys for their boubtiful chests doing… you guessed it: daily quests for rep etc. I bet I could fully gear a character to 590 ilvl from only world content and delves in a single weej casually.
I think you misunderstood use crafted gear. You can buy a full set of 568 gear for like 5k gold depending on server. You can literally hit 80 and go straight to heroic
I obviously play far fewer hours than you do. I don’t expect to max out quickly because I play slowly, but I do feel I am making no progress.
