Waiting for a response but i have not heard back. Given sunday though, I know it can take sometime. Was just wondering if they operate. Someone on discord (can’t tell if they were trolling) told me it can take up 1 month for billing to be answered!?
Tickets are answered 24/7. Ticket times are nowhere near a month, a couple of days I think at current for most in-game issues. Most account and billing issues within a day or so at most? So long as a ticket is submitted properly in the proper path, that’s the cincher. If you’d care to elaborate a little bit about what the issue is, we can double-check and make sure you submitted your ticket in the most optimum place? (obviously leaving out account information so as to keep your account and privacy safe.)
This ticket is 10 hours old.
I see where you attempted to use the self-service a few times, but this one is going to need manual review.
Thanks! I did play for about an hour but I kept it under 2 because I know thats what I know the max time you can try. Are they just very busy today?
Queues have been longer than normal siince Blizzcon - for a number of reasons.
They are coming back into normal ranges though - albeit slower than we’d like.
Most issues at the moment are in the 1-2 day range.
Still nothing yet here? Is blizzard severely understaffed?
Seeing as Orlyia said it was 10 hours old, now 17 hours from their timestamp I don’t think it’s an understaffing issue if their expected resolving range is in the 1-2 days.
We are well over 24h for a billing inq. Something is very wrong here.
Edit i opened a 2nd ticket under the other category. Was left with no choice but seems that opening tickets every 24h might get their attention. Nothing else seems to work.
This will be my last attempt before going directly to my bank to dispute it.
Unless it’s taking a week, way over the expected 1-2 days there’s nothing wrong here being in queue.
If you spam tickets it won’t do anything as it slows down responses for players behind you in the queue… Imagine if a player in front of you did that.
Would be considered fraud, besides, they usually ask you to contact the merchant first and giving them a reasonable amount of time to respond. A couple days is very reasonable.
Edit: I see you changed it into a bank dispute from chargeback but same thing.
I have no choice. This is the only way to get blizzards attention.
You have no choice but to commit fraud in order to jump the queue?
Opening a dispute with my bank is fraud for non communication from a company?
Lmao
Orylia’s communicated with you, and told you the timeframe you can expect a reply. It’s fraud to dispute the charge just because you’re not happy with how quickly you’re getting the answer.
Opening more tickets will unfortunately, not get the ticket you originally mentioned faster attention, and only serves to show a inflated estimate to new tickets. As you noted your just a bit over 24 hours with an average of 1-2 day wait, it’s likely an answer is will be expected soon.
As someone who has worked in banking for a long time, they’re right. 1-2 days is well within reasonable time frame.
You’ve been given the time frame by a Blizzard employee who has posted in this thread twice. How is that non-communication?
While you are likely right, your bank will probably side with you despite proper reasoning; what you may not be aware of is that Blizzard will also be in a position to lock that character until the bank dispute is resolved. This means, the character will be unplayable until such time that Blizzard receives the funds that were disputed.
If you are planning on playing that character, I would highly recommend against a charge-back.
I get that you made a purchase and are, for whatever reason, hoping to get it refunded. You might want to make sure that you are familiar with Blizzard’s Refund policy.
Do you wanna know why the wait for a ticket response is so long?
This is why. Spamming the queue just ensures that everybody gets slower service.
Can a mod close this? Getting out of hand here.
Edit: I know i said some stuff I shouldn’t. Had a rough morning and jumped to conclusions. I’d appreciate not getting bashed anymore. Thanks.
It’s not getting bashed - more that people are trying to warn you of what rash actions may bring about. It’s more educational than anything. If anyone was attacking you for the sake of attacking, their posts would be removed and their accounts in danger of a vacation as this forum is the most heavily moderated forum there is. And truly, it’s all true information being shared. I’ll also add that this post too is only meant to be informational. I am not bashing or railing at you in the slightest, so please do not take it as such.
Your ticket will be answered in the order that it was received. As has been mentioned - opening multiple tickets will not make things go any faster, it only clogs the system all the more. Billing and account issues are priority. They are addressed in their own speciai queue apart from the in-game issues and appeals. Orlyia said your ticket has been properly submitted and was in its place for attention. A new ticket stands alone in its newer place at the back of the line.
As for the threat to go to the bank? Threats don’t work around here because the GMs who address tickets will never see it as they don’t come to the forums. And the folks above are absolutely correct that it would be fraud. Even though your bank would very likely side with you? I’ve yet to see a person who did a chargeback on Blizzard who didn’t regret it. They will lock accounts until they are repaid, and most often times they will require someone to go out, find a place that sells Blizzard Balance cards to use because by committing a chargeback, you’ve proven that your use of a credit/debit card is not a trusted mode of payment in this case. Once your account has been made right, then you would be able to use personal cards again for subs and the like.
From what has been said above, you’ve used some part of a character service or expansion for about an hour and you’re requesting a refund on that service. If you’ve done it before, they will check to make sure that there isn’t a pattern of behavior.

But refunds are not guaranteed, depending on several markers they’ve got to to follow.
I do hope things will work out and that you’ll be hearing back from them before too much longer. Please do just have patience as they do work around the clock and that your first ticket’s place in queue is secure. It just needs to wait on everyone else’s ticket before it was submitted to be addressed first. All the best to you.
It’s not clear what precisely was purchased which OP is now asking to be refunded, but to set expectations…
Refunding a character boost generally involves the boosted character being locked out unless and until another boost is purchased and applied to the affected character.
