If you are running normals/heroics. There is not much to heal.
Makes sense as to why they’d want the healer to participate beyond sitting on their hands on follow.

Also, healers can actually press buttons that aren’t healing spells without interrupting their no-cast period to regain mana now.
And you don’t see a problem here? Why is mythic so bad? Because there is zero difficulty before it. Then all the sudden you can’t even get into a group of you have t done a million of them with the highest io score imaginable. Who wants to sit for 45 mins looking for a group to get out into said group with people who are just mean and vile. Mythic isn’t so hard that it’s impossible by any means I’ve been plenty deep into mythic on several toons. I quit playing it because the players and the difficulty getting consistent groups and play not because the difficulty of the content. Mythic is miserable. I pvp now the game is a lot more fun. If the normal content was more fun and challenging more people would enjoy it. Why even have it in the game if it’s 100% guaranteed…that is so boring it’s just not gonna keep people interested. Anyone can do mythic…dealing with getting into it…isn’t worth it.
Game’s a boring zerg now. They need to up the damage and mechanical intensity to a point you have no choice but to utilize CC.
Miss one interrupt? Wipe. Failed to CC that rogue mob? Yeah, it ignored your tank and one-shot the healer with ambush. Tried to pull a pack without CCing specific mobs? Tank gets overwhelmed by damage and dies, regardless of what CDs they pop. This is what I would like to see.
100% id jump right back into pve if they would start adding this stuff back in.
No.
Untrue.
You have strong opinions on theoretical people in activities you’re not participating in. Or have ever participated in from what I can see.
You have no dungeon or raid feats of strength. You’ve not completed a single key in time on any character on your account ever and also haven’t even done LFR. To that end you’ve not done several current-season heroic dungeons either.
This is a new account…it’s my third. Been playing since launch. Who’s assuming what here?
I have a dumb experiment dungeon.
Sometimes I feel like we should just have a 3 way dungeon
Like a pie cut in 3 slices. 3 roads. The 3 DPS mow through a bunch of mobs.
The healer heals NPCs along the way
The Tank pulls the boss with them via taunting. Until we all converge. Adjust the challenge so that all 3 move together but require no additional effort until the boss. Each section should independently be manageable.
And deaths of the DPS drag the whole pile of missed mobs onto the floor prior to boss start. Then we respawn just once to mow them down.
I mean it might as well be this anyway. Drag all mobs with the tank to a designated spot to then actually fight but it changes depending on how much the tank thinks everyone can handle.
Every day we have discussions on too little or too much. Enough cleave. Enough AoE. Less focus on ST classic mode of CC sunder. Less me in that King’s Rest using Control Undead for example.
Like an expanded version of G’huun.
Paths of dungeons set by roles that intersect and split groups to reform later. It’s been done in PvE stuff like the intro to Warlords. It’s been an optional perk in Shadowlands covenant shortcuts. But the focus is still the trinity. Fight as group or die as group.
As to note.
Briefly hinted in things like Necrotic Wake final boss. Or the Maldraxxus arena fight between two players.
One of us is possessed or has to prove the better fighter but not fully time limiting. Could be just a mere percent better.
As in we’re not all standing waiting on the healer to finish.
Maybe it sounds too scary and puts pressure on the unknown. Too logistically a nightmare, but would break up the let’s chase after the tank to the next area
You, when calling theoretical people participating in any challenging content “vile”. I’m simply reading.
Also, your achievements are shared on your whole battlenet account. It’s not per-license.
I remember when a ninja-looter or overall troll would get added to a realm-wide banned list, but that no longer applies to this phased, game-wide realm-mashed world.
I mean a quick journey through the forums in the mythic related threads…aren’t exactly full of wonderful people…and I’ve tried as a new account holder to start mythics. It’s nearly impossible to get accepted and I’m not gonna sit there and make my own groups to deal with all that…been there, done that. You can keep it. Makes more sense to just make content harder across the board and let the bad people be bad for a reason that makes sense. Having a literal wall where players have somewhat of a big hurdle to climb to start getting into keys is a problem. It’s too much of a separation and honestly just too time consuming to sit and wait around for it. I don’t have that kinda time when I’m playing in wanna play not stare at a que window.
Weren’t you just saying how there are no mechanics?
Also how did we jump from “there are no mechanics” to “mythics are bad”. Pretty wild tangent.
Odd. As a dps only player I do not struggle.
I also solo pushed 1500 in the first few days during week 1.
(Also queue MAKE YOUR OWN GROUP) - dps are a dime a dozen.
These 2 things don’t make sense.
Pvp is easily the most imbalanced thing currently. Which begs the question, what level of mythics did you push and what level of pvp are you running that you think the pvp experience is > than m+.
I hope you realize doomsayers like yourself have been saying this for what? 18-20 years? And oh look! 20 year anniversary.
So… anyone can’t do mythic?
So…dungeons are too easy, but you refuse to do anything over the literal easy modes, but anyone can do Mythics, but you can’t get into any without having already done countless runs before, but that’s just what you’ve read from the forums, but you’ve tried several times to get into them yourself, but you won’t bother trying to make your own group, so you’ll continue to just complain about easy mode being too easy…
Allow me to once again reiterate the troll accusations
I mean I don’t really know what else to say. This is a new account. On the past I’ve done plenty of mythic content and didn’t find it to be all that hard. Agreed it is harder and if you have a good consistent group it’s more challenging and more fun. But pvp is instant and fun all the time. No sitting waiting and having people leave and bricking and bla bla bla bla…it’s a horrible experience for me…some may like it. But just because I’m not doing mythic content doesn’t mean that the rest of the game isn’t pathetically easy.
You don’t do T4 delves, you don’t do any raids, and you’ve barely touched heroic dungeons. You are literally engaging exclusively with the easiest content in the game and complaining that it is easy, while waxing nostalgic about the time where the hardest content was easier.
Yeah this tracks
Yeah… and a quick dungeon run would still run you close to one hour.
Mate, it is fun to go fast. That’s why folks have always since vanilla been running dungeons faster and faster. Folks did this long before M+ was even a concept.
Folks seriously need to drop this whole anti-dungeon mentality that they have. The reality is that folks like to go fast and to push what they can do. Because big numbers is more fun than 1+ hour long dungeons.
You’re making the assumption that I never done that stuff. Lol. Like I said many times here I’ve been playing the game since launch. The only thing I do anymore is pvp because pve content has become a bunch of the exact same thing. This is a cyclical and silly conversation. You seem to think I never done anything. That’s fine. I’m not here to argue I just wanted to answer the ops question. Posting replies from people I’ve got on ignore is about par for the course around here and it’s time for me to find conversation elsewhere. Take care.
New account with zero mythic progress.
Tbh that’s all that really needs to be said.
I too enjoy people fighting in the middle, ignoring flags. Certain classes/specs being unkillable. Getting stuck in a 15-20 minute bg because if you leave, you get a lovely deserter.
Based on your account, you haven’t done any to give such a negative review on them.
So you did T4 delves prior to making this account? On a different bnet account mind you, not just a different WoW license? When was this, last expansion?
Lol. Lmao, even
