Does anyone not use Questie?

I’m just generally curious if anyone out there is not using this add-on. Everyone I’ve run into and myself included uses it.

I don’t, nearly all quests are very easy and straightforward especially once you hit TBC more so if you’ve done them before already.

I’ve leveled more alts than I will ever be able to remember. I’d done the quests 100’s of times. Questie has one purpose at this stage in the game. The mouse over objective status. When someone has questie and you are grouped with them, you see how many more of the quest drops they need.

I didn’t use it when I played Classic (Vanilla) as horde because I already knew what to do and where to go for every quest. I did get it when rolling alliance because I’ve played that less and have just kept it installed but I don’t consider it “required”.

Ok. This is going to blow your little Zoomer mind. I actually read the quests and without instant text. Yes, it’s possible to still read quests and and enjoy them - without turning myself into a bot and brainlessly moving my character from point A to point B as fast as possible ad Infinitum.

To be fair, if you’re not familiar with the locations a quest explains, then you’re going to need to go on the internet to find out. So questie can bridge that gap. Using the internet as a resource on what to do has always been a thing. And it’s likely you were looking stuff up for every single quest you did in your first playthrough ever in this game.

questing without instant quest text means I’m reading it at like 1/3rd speed. it’s like listening to an old man who takes a deep breath every 2-3 words, ah can’t take it.

So do you read at a 3rd grade level to where you don’t have to wait on the text, or do you enjoy sitting there waiting for the text to scroll?

I have not needed it yet and I’m almost done outland… I guess I just played way too much back in the day I already know where everything is. (character not updated, level 69)

i use it mostly for auto turn ins and auto accepting quests
