Is it on the PTR now? I thought someone said so…but i didnt see anything
Yes. Just copy a character over and you can find them in the dungeon finder.
thanks…for god sake…i had the WRONG PTR opened lol
I don’t see either of those in here. Opinions, sure.
Whatever hyperbole this is? No.
It’s a forum for discussion of opinions. Maybe calm down.
you can quest at a more relaxed pace.
Your guns are aimed at the wrong person, I think the AI groups should be available for all dungeon content including mythic+ and also completely replace LFR.
OMG…running the followers Ruby Lifepools and the mage even dropped a food table at the gate lol.
VERY cool Blizzard. More of this please.
oh coooool…the AI healer is blasting me with heals too lol
and dropped a mog i dont have.
Better than 75% of mages already.
Don’t know if it’s been said or not already, but these aren’t strictly solo queue A.I. Dungeons. They’re 1-4 player follower dungeons meaning you can certainly queue up with your two damage and healer buds and have the A.I. tank for you.
Well that’s a new level of GD conspiracy theory.
i assume you have actual evidence of this really weird claim. right?
awww musta hurt someones feelings lmao
how WE play the game, son, is NONE of your business or concern.
MMO DOESNT mean ‘in our face’ lmao
It sounds like youre upset others dont want to play the game with you, to be honest. lmao
Yet. Hopefully (sooner than later) we will see advancement to the point we can run anything with an AI group.
No, they really aren’t.
I genuinely can’t tell you the last time I saw anything in chat in a dungeon. People literally don’t talk in them, and even if you say something, it will be A ignored, or B lost in dungeon prompts.
Maybe at one point dungeons were social, but they haven’t been for years. Just a quick run for gear/xp and nothing more.
i don’t remember the last time i was in a dungeon and nobody said a word. it might just be “heya” or whatever, but it’s something.
Yes, you get XP, and apparently it’s the same as you would if you’re running it in a group of real players. I just did Halls of Infusion on the ptr, and it was interesting:
The mage dropped a table at the beginning, and all the npcs said some sort of greeting.
There’s a button you can use to tell the tank to lead the way, or use it again to lead yourself. I told the tank to lead, and the first thing she did was pull both groups in the first room instead of just one. And after that, she just kept going! LOL I think if you don’t follow quickly enough, she’ll stop, but I’ll do some more testing on that.
Some of the npcs jump around constantly like many players do!
The shaman died and had to be rezzed after the frog boss.
The npc tank couldn’t figure out how to get out of the Khajin’s Gambit area and onto the bridge to go to the last boss when she was “leading,” so I had to lead the way for that. Probably a bug, but it was funny, because I thought “WTH is this tank doing?” She didn’t do too well on the bridge once I got here there either, but she did engage immediately and get all the aggro from the trash after I attacked.
And the loot was just about normal too: one blue pair of boots at the end, with an ilvl of 256 for my level 61 druid.
Overall, it was enjoyable! Really though, Blizzard might have taken it a bit too far with making these npcs just like players. I kid, but it was funny just how similar it was to running a dungeon with other players. The only thing missing was the toxicity and speed running.
I’m definitely looking forward to doing more, and seeing this feature expanded to the rest of the dungeons in game.
Doubt it. It will either offer less or none.
