I have Horde/Alliance copies of each class, plus a few other copies such as:

  • Bank alts.
  • Characters who are on different servers that I only use on certain occasions.

i have a metric ton of alts and many of each class of various races. I feel your struggle OP.

I would make duplicate hunters of different races to level for heritage armor because it was fast and easy to run them up.

This thread got me curious, so I did an inventory of my characters on Retail. I rarely delete characters. The funny thing is, I consider myself a hunter main even though I have half a dozen monks. Most of the monks were leveled in BFA for heritage armor. Most of the others were leveled between WoD-Legion. Spread across 4 realms.

I did the same thing with Monks back in BFA when they still had the daily experience increase.

I’ve had 3 rogues since MoP, one for each spec. I no longer play my rogues because I can’t stand what Blizzard has done to them. Go figure.

Hunters and blood DK are the quickest I think. I have quite a few hunters and several DK. They are also pretty great for alt army farming.

Because i’m an altaholic who likes to have lots and lots of Hunters/Paladins and Warriors, 4 priests and 4 rogues, 4 mages and then at least 1 of each of the other classes. I like to play all the classes so i can see what i am missing out on. There is always a new toon to create and build. Looking forward to making Gnome and MechaGnome Paladins and a Night Elf Paladin.

Not really sure i will make anything with the new Dwarves, not a super Dwarf fan to begin with even though i have 3 Wildhammer and 1 Dark Iron Dwarf.

I would love to play some Alliance Tauren if we ever get the option. Definitely would make new toons for High Elves if that ever happens.

I have multiple druids on my account all for different farming reasons.

Tauren for herbing
HM tauren for mining
Zandalari for a speed set (250% base speed in cat form)

And 2 alliance druids.

I copied this behavior from my brothers and to be honest, it was one of the best decisions I made in the game.

1 Character = 1 Spec only

Not only opens this up many different race/class variations, you’re also not bound to play the same character every time.

Basically 4 of each the rest of the way, except only 1 warlock to collect mogs.

I have some on hold for race class openings.

I like to have different hunter themes, sadly I’m deleting my gnome not enough small and cute pets to pull off the theme.

I went with all purple pets to go with the heritage armor.

Or maybe all mechanical pets? That’s what I did for my mechagnome. There’s a few from ZM that are not mechanical but look mechanical to use for a Ferocity pet. And I used a spectral spirit beast so it looked like a hologram.

Just throwing out some ideas in case you wanted to change your mind :stuck_out_tongue:

I was in this thread in 2022.

Things have changed a bit.

I have 3 mages, 3 Shamans, 2 Druids, 3 Priests, and 2 Rogues on the same server.

Twinks, mostly. Of a couple different levels in the cases of the Classes with 3.

All the mechanical pets are cunning, I really wish they weren’t other wise I wouldn’t consider deleting her otherwise.

I’m going to wait for TWW to come out to see what they do to hunter pets before I delete my gnome hunter. I wish we could have a pet slider, my pets would be tinie for my gnome.

I have a ton of druids for transmog farming. I need to level up leather working on one of them and go through for all the old recipes to get those mogs.

Also had several for different covenants in SL’s.

I haven’t logged in on any of them except my main here in a while though because I’m burnt out on transmog and mount runs.

I like that pet, I just wish it flew a bit higher off the ground.

Only a DH because I had a boost to waste and made a new one on a different server and yet today I still haven’t touched either since SL :dracthyr_crylaugh:
