Does anybody know how to gift a subscription?

I dont seem to be able to figure it out

While you can’t gift a subscription, you can send 60-days of game time as a gift from the shop.

A subscription is attaching a permanent and reliable payment source (like a credit card) to an account so that Blizzard can automatically charge the next block of new game time as it’s needed. You can’t gift that. (I suppose you could give your CC number and details to the other person to put into their account, but that sounds unwise.)

You can gift 60 days of game time from the Shop website:

There’s a “Gift” button on the page (looking at it on my phone, it’s a button with a “wrapped gift box” icon) to make the purchase and identity an intended recipient.

(Which Terise showed.)

Do what I did when a friend couldnt afford to play for a month,
I went and bought a 60 day card from Walmart. Then whispered him the code on it.

I ended up having to send them the money to buy it for themselves. It would be great if Blizzard made an easy option for gifting the game and sub.

It’s impossible to gift a subscription as it requires a payment method that can be charged on a recurring basis. If Blizzard allowed that, it could cause issues down the road as it would be your card being charged.

The only option to gift any game time would be the option I linked previously.
