Still can’t believe we got bloody Vulpera and Mechagnomes before Ogres.
I don’t think its wrong for people to say they don’t want a race to be playable so long as it is done respectfully.
Yeah of course. The last rts horde race not playable, one of the most requested race would be a waste of playable race spot… What a dumb take.
Then take your own advice and don’t assume everyone doesn’t like the things YOU don’t like.
I hate it when people say stuff like that. Its so ignorant half the time or simply someone’s bias showing.
Yeah but as long as they say that they personalty don’t like them and not just pretend that they would be bad for the game.
And even worst, as long as they just don’t want any other race in a thread asking for a race. At this point it is just bait.
I am not seeing why they couldn’t. We have a lot of lore on Ogres actually, I am not entirely sure why somebody would think we do not lol. They have a long history with the Horde. We have Tauren and toys that turn us into saberon who are just as tall as ogre in lore. 6-7 feet. They look fine when we are playing as them. Hardest part about making a ogre would be two headed options or maybe the horn on its head but then again we have demon hunters and Draenei.
I am not seeing why they couldn’t work.
Good point.
It might be requested and then people will see mogs don’t look that nice on them given their size and proportions and hardly anyone will play them as it often happens to the larger races.
OK you clearly didn’t get my point. Of course i didn’t think the first part of my post. It was just to show that everyone can call useless what other people like. So denying something that other people want just because you would prefer to have something else in the other thread is just pointless and useless confrontation.
If you want content, then go on a thread about content.
Ogres could be made about as big as tauren and it would work. Also don’t forget that vulpera have their mog issues.
Forsaken shoulder are just awfully small, orc shoulder for many people are just ridiculously big, tauren and worgen helmet look awefull, blood elf weapon are bigger than blood elf themself.
And yet all those race a fairly played. Not every race have to look like human or elf. In fact blizzard just need to stop using human as the default race when they create set.
Exactly, we have and a lot of people flat out refuse to play vulpera because of these problems.
Also a lot of people also refuse to play tauren, kul tirans and male dreanei for the same reason, they’re “too big” and not a lot of stuff look good on them.
The wow community is picky about that stuff and easy to predict.
I agree with that part.
If the ogre female turned out anything like those big blood trolls I’d make one in a hot second.
There are several things I want in this game very very badly… A 2-headed ogre mage is one of them. Along with, Draenei (Man’ari Warlocks), Mechagnome Druids, and Forsaken Paladins…
I really really want a 2-headed ogre mage… now please, thank you.
Ik, but my point is that I am fairly certain you wouldn’t consider vulpera a waste of an AR slot because of this. People who like a race generally can often overlook mog issues like this. Like people say goblins are aweful with mogs, but I think this outfit looks better on this race then any other. Personal taste. As long as people enjoy something and it adds something new to the game, I don’t think its a waste. The only two races I’d consider wastes are LF draenei and highmountain since they are nearly identical to their core races.
You know, now that you mentioned them, I think I would too o.o
I wouldn’t mind a blood troll AR with the big ladies being an option, having a race with the larger female and smaller male for a change would be pretty cool.
And yet they are all played as much as many other race.
Human, night elf and blood elf make up of like 50% of the population. Are you saying that every other race are useless and bring nothing. We now have more than 20 playable race so having less played race is more than ok and just add more diversity.
Oh I certainly hope not. There are enough oogly races now…looks at the poster boy…
