‘SOLO SHUFFLE’ has such long queue times that it’s hard to enjoy anymore, Once I achieve the goals of the season. it feels like ‘RANDOM RBG’ is the only thing left.
For me, Wow has turned into a strict seasonal game. You either knock out everything within the first month of release or you quit until next season/play ultra casual. Why? The overall quality of players and experience becomes abhorrent after that in all divisions of ranked even casual to some extent. You have 4 versions of WoW up, each with pvp enabled. So what little pvp players that still pay to play this draconian game are spread incredibly thin.
Nah, not really. Tbh, I don’t see the point of randoms anymore since I can just queue BGB, which gives seasonal rewards, and guarantees that at most teams are made up of duos, instead of 5 stacks.
Edited.
It can be fun sometimes but it seems not many are queuing this late in the season, q times are 15 mins or higher and there seems to be an increase in strange events like healers running around in mounts not dismounting or just being afk lol.
I don’t think it’s that premades don’t face premades. It’s just the system can’t differentiate between good ones and bad ones.
Like the one I just saw where the pres healer alone had an honor level of 3341. Like, how do compete against guys who never log off?
Out of all the ones I’ve seen only 1 can be called “good”, the rest are players that can’t land kicks or cc into immunities etc, but can’t be punished bc certain healer specs like disc/pres/mw don’t die to 1 player even if they screw up except for a few specs, you could try cc instead but as 1 player vs a stack… uh (no dampening in bgs btw).
Out of about 10 premade matches I’ve played in the last 2 weeks, I think only 1 or 2 were premade vs premade.
For me its just the Q times that ruin pvp for me currently. Shuffle is a great addition but waiting 20 mins for one game when i have limited time to play just straight up makes me not want to play.
But if you’re solo queueing and don’t know the other players, how can you be sure that your team doesn’t have a premade on it?
It’s kind of long to explain lol, you can tell.
OP means BGB right?
Lol hard to tell, probably yes. Some1 said something about 5 stacks and asumed it was just about bgs. Probably means Blitz.
I just feel that a lot of people make assumptions based on poor gameplay. A few years ago I used to run with a group of three and we were quite awful, LMAO. If you didn’t know us you wouldn’t have thought we were a premade.
Uh so either people throwing games or they really are that bad.
Example is the new pvp map people just ignore crystals and we lose everytime on that map. I have lost countless games to objectives being flat out ignored. Lost 120 points in last 24hours to this nonsense and no its not me I still having to do WAY too much heavy lifting on caps etc.
Actually, more losses occur there when people ignore carts and get into endless teamfights over the crystal.
If you say so, I am like flabbergasted at how awful people are and im cursed atm 130 points down in one day cause I keep getting teammates who REFUSE to toss cc, refuse to do objective, refuse to open map and see what is going on.
I am pretty close to quitting blitz mode all together cause im genuinely surprised that people are this awful at the game.
They need to go back to plunderstorm with 5 buttons
Oh I get the frustration, believe me. But I’d suggest you break up your queues with randoms or something else. Don’t chain queue Blitz if you’re on a loss streak.
All BGs are fun. Shame what happened to RBG bracket though.
If this is refering to Blitz and no random BGs which it looks like. I love Blitz and haven’t touched RSS since S2 of DF. But that is me someone who doesn’t enjoy playing arena really.
I use random random BGs to test out builds, learn new specs/classes etc. Or just to queue and mess around without having to worry about MMR or my rating. It’s like queuing non rating modes in OW for me. Like that.
If I run into premades it’s usually on one side, or if it does match them one side dodges. Which is obvious when one side starts with 20 people. In non Epics it is a lot harder to tell though sometimes. I honestly don’t ever really notice full queue sync premades in normal BGs.
Shuffle is tough because it’s unforgiving for healers with how MMR works for them AND how fast dampening ramps up. Something needs to change for RSS I think.
This is true, I can’t usually kind of tell by how organized the sides are (bombs into roots into stuns etc) or how they move. Sometimes you can just look people up to gauge things. Like when they have an 87% win % in AV in 100 games lol. I mean sure they could get lucky but idk haha.
Ya I tell people this all the time when I see some of the insane losing streaks people tell me about when they are chain queuing. If I lose 3 in a row I will immediately take a break for maybe 30 minutes to an hour. What I think happens is when you go on losing streaks like that you kind of just keep getting paired up with the same people over and over. It has work so far for my main with my win % still being about 60%.
Honest (curious) question: Do you do this in epic BGs?
If so, I’m not sure why there would be any concern over win rates or premades being in epic BGs.
Also, premades face each other every night during prime time hours. I wish they always did, since I think premade vs. pug is silly and boring 99% of the time. Alliance are the ones who seem to want to play their premades vs. horde pugs outside of prime time.
If alliance face tough opposition from horde during NON prime time hours it’s likely because the horde teams are basically carried by the good players who know how to play eBGs. I’ve also heard there may be a demographic element to it like Asia horde players being good.
