This happens in the quest regarding the Reclamation of Gilneas, you can start this quest in your Capital City.
You get a transmog and a mount from it, and for Worgen players, a “Hearthstone” to teleport to Gilneas.
I sure hope so before Blizz implements the totally brilliant and original plot twist of character assassinating him by making him a villain while another character who is currently clearly defined as a villain gets a redemption arc (probably Slyvanas).

He’s been chilling out on the overt horde aggression for years, so that’s not happening. If anything, he gets assassinated, and we’re sieging a horde city again in retaliation.
I’ll be happy if he just dies, the way don’t matter.
I was going to ask if he has a daughter or niece. Having a female relative available to replace you is a death flag in today’s WoW.

Anduin is currently mopey in Hallowfall and I have a small army of rabid squirrels with Greymane’s scent.
Have they actually let a character die of old age that wasn’t a side character?

He’s a side character with main character energy.
I would argue not till they went full girl power and replaced all the leaders with chicks he was. I don’t think they knew what to do with him after merging the factions.
