Do you think Genn will die of old age?

Characters dont die in video games, unless blizz kills them lol

Not really, its shown how a lot of the souls in the Maw are heavily disoriented and barely conscious.

A lot of them also often being trapped.

Nah, he will be put down like Ol’ Yeller because he gets some disease and Anduin needs to pull the trigger.

Genn is mopey and boring and indecisive and a coward, they should have ditched him forever ago.

Dog years x human years caused a buffer underflow so no. As far as the universe knows, he’s already dead so it can’t possibly happen again.

Not all Horde leaders they’ve killed off deserved it, Cairne was cheated out of his life off screen only to get replaced by his obnoxious son

We saw that forces from other Zones were continually going into the Maw to fight the Mawsworn so clearly they can go there and return. Given a choice to wait for Sylvanas to find every soul herself versus sending an entire contingent down to save them and bring them back does the former really seem reasonable?

Sylvanas may be given the job of interfacing with the Mansworn, providing information to the rescue team and finding some souls herself but it just doesn’t make sense that they would all just wait around for her to find millions of souls herself.

Tbf, the covenants had their own problems to deal with as well.

As much as I hate to say it — It’d probably be Velen dying of old age, if anyone.
… But with that being said, Velen is blessed by the Naaru whereas Genn is not - so on that note, it’s rather debatable :person_shrugging: The Alliance has quite a few old-souls though. :grimacing:

There’s going to come a moment where Anduin is about to receive a fatal blow, and Genn will jump in suddenly and take the hit for him.

That will be the end of Genn Greymane, dying protecting his proxy son, just as his real son died to save him.

We solved most of those problems. I just can’t see them all sitting around waiting for one person to rescue millions of souls. Also this plan of sending Sylvanas into the Maw was not a consensus of the Eternal Ones, it was Tyrande’s idea. Tyrande who clearly got played by Sylvanas whose “punishment” was to be thrown back into the “briar patch” to chill in her Torghast Condo.

Remember, the Eternal Ones think of Tyrande’s hero goddess Elune as the Winterqueen’s Bratty little sister. They are not going to rely on Elune’s dedicated follower to make their most important decisions.

He has the Super Soldier Serum in him, he will last longer than the average beast/human.

I’d think Anduin would be more worried if Genn was spreading mange to the other worgen and shapeshifted druids. Older the mutt, harder it is to diagnose and to get treatment in a timely manner.

I mean, they all agreed to let Tyrande decide the judgement.

Yes, they allowed Tyrande to decide what to do with Sylvanas. But did they decide Tyrande should decide how all the souls would be rescued from the Maw? If you were one of the Eternals would you have thought it was a good idea to have millions of souls wait for one convicted criminal do all the rescuing while living in her Torghast Condo?

Were talking about the same people that hid their Sigil in the most obvious place possible.

Both wrong,

Tyrande’s judgement was EVERY SOUL needs to be freed from the Maw.

Tyrande Whisperwind says: Every soul lost in its depths, betrayed or condemned…
Tyrande Whisperwind says: you shall find and send forth to the Arbiter
Tyrande Whisperwind says: to be judged with the compassion all souls deserve.
Tyrande Whisperwind says: You will toil there, under Dori’thur’s watchful eye,
Tyrande Whisperwind says: scouring every darkened reach,
Tyrande Whisperwind says: until the final soul is free, and you are all that remains.

Genn is like 350 in Dog years and he’s still kicking, so I think we need to find another solution.

Yeah i confirmed this a bit later:

Sure but they saw their error right away. After a few days someone is going to ask “How many million souls has Sylvanas sent back?”
“14 so far”
“14 million?”
“No, 14”.
“Oh …”
“…”
“Maybe we should send more people to bring back the souls”
