Or do you want it to stay 1.12 forever? Or maybe 1.12 with some new content added over time? Would you like that new content to be certain aspects of TBC (class balance, for example)

Expansion made gear peiple worked for obsolete in the way it was done. Id rather see a more true to lore version slowly released in large content packages over time with the level xap staying the same and vertical progression within the confines of the current game. IE using the models, and the textures already within the game. Northrend and Outland can still come but id never want it yo rolll out the way it did.

This would be better than what we’ve seen historically.
There’s plenty of instance portals that were never used. I could see a classic+ utilizing those. If they kept true to game design, I’d love it.
I personally think that TBC took a lot away from the game, I don’t know much about the class balance. But, I know when it released, it dashed all my hopes of getting epic loots that meant something (to me, at least) for a long time.
When lvl 58 outland greens were better than the 60 epics, that was enough to put me off until WotLK. All I really wanted was to finish my T1.5 .
My goal for WoW is T1.5 . Once there, i’ll aim higher.

Question for you, since I have not played in a decade: can you not visit the tbc and wotlk zones in the current iteration of the game? Also, and forgive me for my ignorance on the subject, but does the current iteration of the game have some nice QoL changes? I do not know, as I have not played in awhile. Thanks in advance for your response.
Yeh, TBC and WotLK are both 60-80 scaling zones. What was left… is now dead.

Of course, you can visit any zone that ever existed. Even Darnasus is burned in BFA, you can still go back in history.
