Do you remember

Showing my age with this post. I started to reflect on the good times and events I (and maybe you) have had over the expansions/changes that have occurred. Do you remember when you may have had a problem with a quest and one of the Blizzard employees would actually meet you while playing with a character. on line, and help you with issues? How glorious that was!

Do you remember fishing and had to achieve a specific level to fish in more ‘advanced’ spots?

Do you remember the simplicity of professions to create items for yourself and you friends without worrying about the quality of the farmed items you needed?

Those were the days my friend, we thought they’d never end.

I remember when clams did not stack. We walked around with our 8-slot bags bursting with clams, uphill, both ways, through the snow. Then all these clam-stacking noobs came along and dumbed down the game, and here we are.

Now this is a great post.

Back in the day, on Azuremyst Isle, a mini boss was bugging, so I asked for help in the game and a GM popped up, reset the boss multiple times until I was able to down it. Those were indeed the days.

Yes, the bag space problem. Always something in the back of the player’s mind when questing, as it should be. And professions, working hard to get to a point to make a certain item that improved your gear.

Remember when seeing a player with multiple epics was like seeing a celebrity? Now epics are just throwaway pieces for better epics, upgrade this or thunder forge that.

Every expansion has degraded the game to some extent or at least the play style.

I could go on, as I’m sure you guys could too. The game is still fun, the social aspect with long-time guildees is still great, but give me original wow any day.
