I want to ask you a question: do you really want an expansion of the void?
Editing with the failure that it was Shadowlands, do you want to fight with void elementals?

I only want it if the twist ends up the Void Lords were just looking out for us in the end. Eating us was the only way to unite the universe for what is to come.

But it could have some cool elements, like exploring the Ethereal home world Etc…

I want the universe to reset. They ran out of ideas after WotLK and are now seriously scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Narratively I don’t care one way or the other, but eldritch horrors bore me.

Light vs void is legit the only expansion trope I have any faith in at this point but I still suspect it’ll not live up to expectations.

To be fair, my expectations are through the roof because I’ve come up with expansion ideas that can solve all of the various narrative and lingering player/feature issues. In fact I would even go as far as to say it would be a spiritual WoW 2.0

I’m just hoping that a void vs light expac would mean customization options and more development of the velves… I know it won’t but I can still hope!

I’m happy with whatever expansion theme they give me, but a void one would be great if it means more void elf stuff :man_elf: :octopus:

100%! But that’s because I really love the whole Lovecraftian Cosmic Horror/Body Horror genre.

I’d be even more stoked if they added a 3rd faction that was the Black Empire, with playable Naga and other creepy eyeball tentacle races.

The Void and Old Gods are actually some of my favorite villains in WOW, so yeah… I’m looking forward to a Void-themed expansion.

I read the lore here and there then I’m reminded that Morgoth and Sauron are cooler and more well-thought out. So not really.

WoW is now kinda feeling like where the MCU is and it’s like oh so what catastrophic God-Level threat are we facing now?

If they sprinkled different themes such as they did with the Shadows over Innsmouth themed quests in BfA I would be down for a void expansion. With how Legion went “fel is green so everything is green” I don’t exactly trust them to do anything but make Purple the Expansion.

If I could get some tier and weapons that’s dark and glowy without the eyeballs and tentacles then I’m all for it.

No, not at all. Keep void a permanent B plot. I honestly havent even enjoyed the old god patches. I doubt id buy an expansion based on them.

Last time I enjoyed old gods was Garrosh
