I just hit 80 on my warrior hours ago and been doing faction attunement quests. Just wondering are heroic dungeons as hard as the TBC counterpart? Do you need to be well geared as a tank/dps to run them? I don’t have any late game experience in Wrath and would like some advices and pointers, thanks.
Nope, they are easy.

They are super easy. It was a mistake by the devs.
If anything you will start seeing full dps groups being possible at some point here.

They buffed heroics by 30% but they’re still very easy. I went in with levelling gear and I’ve already got my full prebis.
No, wrath heroics are comically easy.
Just get honored with a lot of the factions and most of the blue gear you can buy from them will be more then enough.

Did they buff regular heroics? or is that for Heroic + ?
I know they saidt hey would buff naxx by 30% but i did not know heroics were buffed to.
I’ve heard they buffed heroics and that’s in line with my experiences doing them. Anub wasn’t hitting 21k~ pounds in OG wrath heroics and he is now. You can’t mass pull many mobs either.
Really? i have been chain pulling usually taking like 2 packs at a time, every culling i do i finish the gauntlet with like 9 min left every time.
They did not buff Heroics.

I’m not 80 yet, but I played WotLK quite a bit through the entire xpac. If memory serves, you need to run the instance once on regular to become 'attuned." As far as gear is concerned… there’s not much of a requirement. If the party lets the tank pull and does what they need to do, most runs should be pretty smooth.
Pretty much only tank need to be geared. You can do that with poorly geared tank ofc, but healer will suffer and tank will not be able to pull big. And warlock will cry because he can’t mindlessly spam SoC (i’m that warlock)

Nope, no attuning for heroics.
I went in with leveling gear. As tank. DPS shouldn’t have any worries
You need a decently geared tank.
Nah, instantly tanked them in all level 70 pvp gear just fine. They’re a joke

I’ve done the mechanic. I’ve done it so many times I am done gearing in heroics, I have all the gear. As I said I wasn’t certain about the buff I simply heard it was a thing. Might have been referring to Heroic+ content scaling, who knows.

Heroics are a joke. Ran through it with leveling/sunwell gear just as fast as the regular dungeons we did while leveling. Averaging about 15-20 minutes per heroic in leveling gear.
