Do You Miss TBC Classic?

It’s right there in the title. If there were separate servers for TBC Classic, would you still be playing over there?

Naw. It had 2 good moments, Vashj/Kael prenerf and SWP.

Outside of that it was kind of lackluster across the board.

Most certainly do not.

You know how hard it was for me, as resto, farming out Kurenai rep for the mount? Oh boy.

No.

Vanilla good. TBC bad. Wotlk great.

Not at all. Was not casual friendly at all.

nostalgically, yes; it was the first expansion I reached max level when I was a kid and where I learned to raid with my friends.

In actuality, no. Wrath is much better as an overall game.

No but I do miss vanilla classic. I had so much fun on my hunter it sucks SOM flopped. I would level to 60 all over again and gear up if they redid classic.

Absolutely, TBC was the golden age of WoW. WOTLK is the beginning of the end. WOTLK really has almost nothing on the quality of TBC and vanilla, it’s biggest redeeming value is ulduar.

Not a snowballs chance in hell I would go back to tbc. I would almost rather give bfa another shot. almost.

It was a good expansion. I like how it was slower than WotLK, as it felt like an expansion you could live in much longer than just vanilla, who needed some pretty big groups to kill things in raids. With the slower rep grinds, you could really dedicate a couple of years playing and not have everything done, which seems ideal for a TBC Classic-dedicated server. With Wrath, unfortunately I feel people can blow through the content rather quick and we’re going to be wanting something new in a year.

Tbc is good, but wotlk is pretty much better in every way imo

I only got into TBC during Pre-patch and got to to 70 1 day before Wrath.
Not sure what was there to miss for me lol.
Edit: Oh wait, I miss the 60% Illumination for Hpal. :pensive:

I miss vanilla full of people. Vanilla is there, but too empty to play

I dont like to sit in the same content without there being anything in the future.

Honestly, TBC was extremely overrated. Most of the content was undoable without a guild. Sure there was GDKP but you only got gear if you had a fat wallet. Even then you’d have to an idiot to buy gear. Bots ruined any attempt at farming gold. Gear was always HR’d by groups that weren’t GDKPs.

Absolutely, always loved TBC. Best Expansion ever.

I find myself missing TBC already. I’m enjoying WotLK, but the immensely accelerated pace makes me miss the slower progression of TBC. Not only that, but thematically, I feel Outland was superior. The zones were more diverse, the music was stellar, Shattrath was more my preference (and didn’t feel suffocating at the 50fps of Dalaran in comparison to the expansive, open air Shatt), and the raids were more challenging.

When the original WotLK launched, my opinions and preferences were swapped. Tastes changed as I grew older, I suppose. Still enjoying WotLK, though.

I have fond memories and left with a greater feeling of accomplishment than I did back in the day. Actually had a guild that progressed past nerfed Kara and got to see a lot of content I didn’t before.

Do I miss TBC? kind of but in a happy way, glad I did it but happy to be in wrath finally as well.

I dunno if part of it was it coinciding with the pandemic etc but it was really cool even despite its flaws. I still talk to a lot of the people I met during Classic and have even met several Irl.

And maybe that’s part of what I don’t like about Tbc. It’s when a lot of those people stopped playing for various reasons.
