aotc i can do easily but when im behind hard to pug into aotc groups cause they require aotc and all that so im kinda just waiting until next expac but getting things set up. horde is cool and all but all my friends quit already so i basically playing alone anyways
Iāve used mains before, it always ends badly. The second you present an opinion or idea that someone doesnāt agree with itās inevitable that some weirdo starts in on what talents you have or what bosses you have killed and when and other things people stalk down, instead of discussing the idea. That gets old very quickly.
Itās a very ā¦ modern trump-ish thing to do, misdirection and chaos when you donāt have an answer or you just want to screw with someone. I guess itās not really trump, he just put rocket boosters on the idea, took it to the next level.
So Iām alts here while they continue to allow it. Helps promote threads staying on rails.
Usually I post with toons that I like their names the most. Iām partial to this one as of late, so itās become my main.
Itās the way life should be.
I generally post on whichever character Iāve been playing the most recently.
I feel like my main is never who Iām expecting it to be.
I use my main, but if I am on class forums I use the class toon that is relevant to that class forum.
what ever pops up when logging in. here lately its my alt
this character was my main 10 years ago, but originally was bank alt when rolled in 2009. i do use other alts to post, but less so than before when all of them would tally up posts counts, as opposed to the now per-character forum stats
for most intents and purposes, this character is my main as in i want the forums to know who theyāre talking to. I donāt play her as much as i did in legion / early bfa but iām a big fan of the whole: keep your profile consistent thing after seeing people on other platforms change names / pfps like shirts and expecting everyone to keep up magically.
I use my main for the forums.
Itās actually netted me a couple of BattleTag friends!
Take a guess. :>
In all seriousness though, I had LOT of trouble sticking to one posting character. Iād start posting on my main. Then Iād have a passing interest in a new altā¦ for like 3 weeks. Then itād be another one. Or back to the main. Or maybe I actually changed mains. I ended up changing my posting toon every other month based on what character I was interested in at the time.
Even in longer stints where I wouldnāt change anything on the forum, Iād change the -character- instead. Race Change. Name Change. While that wouldnāt matter for Trust Levels and such today (I donāt think), it still meant no one would ever really recognize my name here, since I never stuck to one.
So at some point I kind of ārebrandedā my online presence. Everything is this username now. I went through and made accounts for everything I might feasibly care about my visible username on.
And I made this Worgen and leveled it to 10 to post with.
And thatās worked well. I havenāt swapped since then, and itās beenā¦ 2 years now?
I usually swap to the character Iām playing the most at a given time.
Though, my warrior is a bit more tricked out now.
This is my co-main character, the other one is a human Rogue. I always post on this one because a) too lazy to switch b) thereās not really any point in switching c) this one has all the neat Trust Level 3 stuff.
this is my alt, I'm actually a multi glad rank 1 mythic world first aotc ce mythic +30, all MT, and i have 3 doctorates, 2 masters, and a partridge in a pair tree
I normally only post on my main as it just keeps things less confusing, but just wanted to show I can use my TL3 power on my alts [using a very obvious name for my alt]
This.
I always post on this toon when I choose to post.
If people canāt handle that, itās a them problem frankly.
This is my posting character. I occasionally switch because some people donāt know about alts and assume that since I havenāt done many keys on her, I canāt possibly have done many keys at all.
Both, especially for xmog threads.
