I personally prefer to use alts but that may change in the future.

I consider this character my main character. I switch to other characters for posting when it is relevant to the topic.

This is my main for now, though I’ll probably be switching classes for 9.2, I’ll still post on this character since it’s where most of my interaction is from

I post on my main, unless I’m specifically trying to show something from an alt.

I swapped to my main, because people tried to use it as some really poor argument like “stop hiding on an alt” or “you don’t know anything, you’re a low level,” and dumb stuff like that. It got old. My eyes were hurting from rolling them too much. :wink:

I didn’t swap until I realized I have TL3 on my entire account and finally decided I didn’t care if people tried to use other stupid arguments like “haha hiding on another character!” Cause I’m not hiding. :woman_shrugging:t4:

Usually one of my two main characters.

Occasionally I’ll swap to an alt if it’s relevant.

Main only. Alts don’t have trust level 3 and I will not post without maximum meme power! :triumph:

Plus Asana is my long term identity here. I’d feel weird posting on anyone else.

This was the guy I played all through Cata/MoP and parts of WoD with. This is the char that has the majority of my posts. Like 99%. So I keep this guy as my Forum Avatar even though he isn’t played much.

I have posted on other chars. Mostly asking for help on the class Forums. Posted on the old Healer Forum for advice back in the day. Still mad Blizzard deleted the Tank/Heal Forums. Good people and good info in those Forums. Probably why they were removed.

LOL yeah… there will always be dumb stuff said from time to time! But I try not to get into discussions where I have no knowledge. Like PvP n stuff. :slightly_smiling_face:

when I started posting on the forums so many years ago, this character was my main

she isn’t anymore, and hasn’t been in a long time, but she is the only character I ever post on for personal. when I’m posting for guild recruiting, I use my druid.

there have been maybe 2-3 times I’ve posted on another character as a joke, but outside of that and guild recruitment, this is the only one I post on.

if people care about my achievements, they can armory me. if the conversation is relevant enough and someone asks, I’ll post a link to my druid.

I got this guy shelved so I guess you can say I now post with an alt.

i prefer to use my main. he carries much more weight and wisdom and shows i am not afraid to stand up to my beliefs.

This was my main last expansion and I’m just too lazy to change it

Bluster here is an alt and is the character I’ve always posted on since the new forums went live in 2018, but all of my other characters are easily viewable by looking at check-pvp.

Alt… Back when I raided the GM had a rule that if we did anything in chat or on the forums that was detrimental to the guild we’d get the boot… So I’ve kind of stuck with that over the years.
