I’m curious for those who do their dailies, How much gold do you make per day from dailies solely? I have 10 70s and trying to think if I should do my dailies on every character from ogrila + skettis
Not really. The ogrilla/skettis dailies are annoying. When sunwell comes out I will do those more often because they aren’t as bad.

doing them on 2 toons a day I make around 80-100g per toon depending on drops + one of them skins, usually takes me about an hour, so I suppose if you had 10 toons, and it took 5 hours, you would make between 800-1k gold a day, I would go nuts doing it 10 times a day though, I stopped doing it every day after I got my epic mount.

I farm strat for dark runes and make a ton of gold. Not worth farming boring dailies.

No one should do dailies for gold as it’s so little you might aswell play classic era and get the same amount an hour. On top of it … skettis and orgrila dailies are the worst. Wait for netherwing/isle of queldanas lol
I do just so I can trade the apex shards to buy ogrila mana potions and use the gold buy mats to craft mana potions on my alt.

Sunwell will be impossible unless you’re the dominate faction on a pvp server.

Takes me about 20min to do the reputation dailies, which is about 50-60g (depending on if the captured skyguard scout is up). Of course, I have a fast flier. If the cooking and fishing dailies are easy ones I’ll do those too, just takes an extra 5 minutes, though the fishing rewards might not be worth the time since they can range from a few silver to 15+g. I do the honor dailies too which can be another 25g, but I’m really doing them for the extra honor. Starting at nearly zero honor and doing nothing but the daily bg and spirit towers since phase 2 started I’m over 50k honor, no weekend AV grinding. I don’t generally do dungeons anymore (daily or not) - they’re fast if you have a pumper group, but most pumpers don’t wanna do dungeons. I’m not religious about dailies but I get them 4-5 days a week, and it helps a lot. A lot of farms are better g/hr, but generally they’re not worth it unless you can put in a few hours in one sitting, while the dailies are quick and simple. Playing the AH is where the real money is but I can’t be bothered.

I do the fishing and cooking dailies regularly on one character.
Makes about 100g a week. About 15g a day in raw gold, plus sellable items. And it only takes about 10 minutes a day (I have the time efficiency min maxed with having all the food ready, engineer teleporter, fast flying, exc.)
I don’t have fishing or cooking even learned…

I started to do them and then it reminded of retail. I’m waiting for the plague that will be netherwing and sunwell dailies. Feels bad for mega servers.

Well, the good news is, with the Christmas event coming up, leveling cooking will be much easier as it has a lot of catch up cooking recipes that make it easier to level.
Fishing though is a pain to level, but there is ways to make it less tedious.
I personally watch anime, the news, listen to music or an audio Bible, exc. To pass the time while fishing.
Just make sure you are watching the fishing bobber if listening to music, or have the game sounds high with the mouse already on the bobber if watching something.
It does help that I have a 2 monitor setup.
They are a reliable way to earn decent amounts of gold daily with not too much time investment at all. If you really need that extra gold, it certainly does not hurt to do them. I have done them pretty regularly on top of the cooking and bg daily and sometimes the spirit towers.
From the start of the patch, I have gone from 1k to 6k gold presently - and that’s with respeccing twice a week to raid/arena, consume up, enchant and everything. I just took it a day at a time, little by little.
Fishing is extra easy now since you can get skillups regardless of where you fish. Shocked me when doing crokolisks in the city the first time and got skillups despite seriously outleveling the area.
I was doing them on 4 characters but got bored of it. I got Exalted on two. I timed it and doing the Ogrilla/Skyguard area dailies outside of Banish Demons took 5-10mins. Then I’d do the Skyguard Skettis bomb quest which is fast and the Spirit Tower caps which I could often do on all 4 chars during one of the time periods. That took just a couple of minutes and that got 48g and 800 honor between everyone. Then the cooking dailies for the free meat and the fishing dailies sometimes (you can get decent stuff like I got a 2 ring the other day from the fishing daily).
The dailies are not bad for raw gold farming, yes playing the AH is better gold and there are other farms but if you want fast gold where you don’t have to think the dailies are good. Doing it on 10 characters though well… 4 was bad enough lol.
Thats what you get for rolling a pvp server in tbc. I’m on a PvE realm so it will be a non issue.
I do dailies primarily for g instead of farming mats now. Seems to work for me in terms of affording all the consumables I need. All told I do 7 dailies and as others have said it yields about 80-110g depending on drops and rewards (vendorscale for ex.). Each toon (hunter and feral druid for me) takes approximately 20 mins to do 7 dailies. They both have epic flyer already.
The trick with Ogrila dailies is to group for them. With 3-4 people going you can clear the bombs, demons, and rays in like 6-8 min min since everyone shares credit.
If solo, I do the crystal, rays, and bombs but often skip the demons, esp if there is competition.
