Do you believe in the soul?

False gold? Lol there is nothing wrong with playing a game with a random currency in it.

probably the most worrying part about it is that you could be addicted to it, which could hinder your life

No. We are our brains. They die

It looks like Lunaera got what they wanted. This thread has turned into drama adjacent, so far, mess.

Blinded by a false book, have fun when you know well you are committing sins every day

I feel, when ever trying to talk about things like: ‘do we have a soul’ or "why are we here’ or life, whenever those topics come up and you try to talk about them or explain them in conversation it comes off like this:

exactly

because you take from it whatever you will

for some, it is a source of inspiration. helps get them through the day. perhaps even helps them be happy.
for others, it provides nothing. whatever lessons could be learned from it, they have either learned themselves though other means, or simply found better ways.
for others still, it is a tool for domination and power. so are many other tools that we have developed, which are not intrinsically bad, but the way they are used is questionable.

morality is not a foregone conclusion. there are many opinions of what is good or bad, moral or immoral, or even if such things as good and bad or morality even exist.

it’s a sad thing that people focus on these differences, label and disdain each other. there are common denominators even between the most different of people, and understanding could be found if only the effort was made

It always gets to this point eventually. Usually sooner as opposed to later.

I’ve always thought that a good way to ruin faith is by throwing religion at it.

we all are, thats true. Thats why Christ died, so we can be saved. None of us are deserving of heaven but Jesus wants to share the glory. You have to accept and repent first

I mean, I could say thats true but I don’t wanna offend anyone who is catholic.

I always anesthetize myself on long flights, and poof, I’m at my destination.

faith or the bible has never really contradicted any data. Only some data has contradicted science

You’re offending peroid, people have stated how they feel and you’re still pusing it so welcome to my ever growing ignore

Jesus: “Hello, friend! Would you like to be SAVED?”
Dude: “… saved from what?”
Jesus: “From what I’ll do to you if you don’t let me SAVE you!”

And this is a good example of using the book to condemn a group for no reason. My parents are Catholic. I was until I got to high school and started to think for myself. I know a lot of really good people who are Catholic. And no, I’m not offended it isn’t your fault the dogma of your faith has to single out a group to dislike.

This might be the first thing you’ve said that made be say “huh?” out loud.

Free will was the downfall. Original sin was the dirty consequence of having free will. However, it needs to be pointed out God put us on the back 40 acres to start with. We never even made it into heaven at the point of our creation. We were a risk factor, which is why Satan refused to obey God and serve us.

Satan’s fall came because he refused to obey God and serve us, a lesser being. Some apocryphal texts say God incinerated 10,000 angels who were against the creation of humans. Satan was okay with the experiment but refused to serve us.

We were tossed out to a field. Left unattended with dangerous entities who tempted us to make stupid choices.

saved from sin. Sin leads to death

Genghis Khan was a little worried at first. He was hoping he could get a bypass and get in. His kill count was starting to get a little too high.
