No. That was a later boost with a real funny caveat.
You had to be like level 70 to get crafting’s boosted too.
You leveled to 70 to boost to then max 110 to get crafting. It was the legion boost set up.
Right now the bonus effect is not being able to use professions lol.
So boost a character before training professions IMHO.
(This druid I boosted back in November, I wanted to jump on the easy Pilgrim Bounty event to power level cooking).
Trained all skills after. No issue.
People boosting characters they leveled up skills on already? Not having a good time currently.

It’s a shame they decided to not boost professions. It’s too expensive in either/or gold or time to level professions from 0 to 525 when you are 80 with no gold. If I knew the effort it took to get to 525 in Engineering in advance I would not of played Cata Classic in the first place. I thought I would be adding tailoring for the cloak buff too but that is impossible with the cost of mats to do so for me. They make professions a huge part of your gear in Cata. Thus if you want to be included you must lvl them. On the other hand, if they decided to boost professions to 450 ( Wotlk max). I would be boosting 2 to 3 more characters. Blizzard is missing out on my $120 to $180 by not including professions in their boosted service. They used to have a boost where if the character was certain lvl like 60+ they add the professions to the boost. I don’t think they even included that? What is the logic in not including it in the boost? I am curious.
I realize it’s all part of their plan though.
You boost a char and then spend just as much time gathering for your profs as you would have leveling the character… or spend real money on tokens for gold to level profs.

I do not intend to ever buy a boost, but the boost should put you to 425 of your profession.
A little behind what lvl 80 max was at 450, but still close.
Essentially putting it right next to being able to level through cata crafting.
