Do people with no gear deserve to be shamed?

True … there are ppl who cry when a Korrak Revenge goes on for more than 30 minutes …dude it takes 25 minutes for the game to even pop for horde , don’t you want to play atleast for double the time you waited ? :man_facepalming:t4:

There’s nothing more for me to say than what Nawat and Hercx have already said.

Get out there and make some friends, join a guild, get some people together and queue up. You might actually end up enjoying pvp.

Lol I also gave some examples of how winning the team fight showed me nothing.

-zero defense
-over extending
-infinite road fight
-losing every other smaller skirm in the game

Whether the opening team fight is a blow out or a close one. It doesn’t show much.

Fair enough… Clearly a few of has have opposing opinions. I don’t judge anything by the opening fight as 75% of the time it doesn’t show jack in my opinion.

Because most people don’t actually understand how Classic AV works.

I’ve “carried” AV games to wins because I understood how the teleporter trinket worked, know that you need around 15 pelts to get the cavalry spawn, and know how to make the commando teams spawn.

AV is an unusual map because unlike most BG’s you can actively undermine your own team by doing something that seems useful like capturing a graveyard.

And then, of course, bot syndrome. Any give Alliance team has at least 1/3rd of it populated by people who don’t want to be there, don’t care if they win, won’t make any effort to win, won’t give any kind of feedback, won’t communicate, and definitely won’t follow any kind of directions. They’ll still remember to whine when they lose after they ignored the explicit ‘Skip Galv, we need to zerg’ instruction only for the Horde to out-zerg because they, along with about 10 other people all decided that ‘skip galv’ really meant ‘waste time on galv’ even though he is completely unnecessary to win unless the game breaks down into a turtle match.

Oh gosh, of course! In a game mode where you’re never more than 1/10th of your team’s contribution it’s clearly just one person’s fault when the team wins! Nothing escapes you, nothing.

So you freely admit that you’re such a wild minority that literally no one should listen to you because you devote almost all your time to pub stomping obsessively. I mean, I’d love to watch your pillow fort burn down for the schadenfreude but no one is actually trying to take away your precious club.

Especially when you’ve read so far into someone’s playing habits that you’ve created a person who doesn’t exist, even going so far- apparently- as to snoop and figure out who their alts are. That’s not indicative of some unhealthy habits, never!

One toxic person can ruin a game for everyone. You also sound like the type of person to rage quit instantly so you wouldn’t ever take part in said come backs.

Again, I have no issue and neither do a lot of others…

I single handedly just flipped an Ashran game about an hour ago, and pushed the alliance to win with a one point spread, but k. It’s funny what happens when you realize the Horde have no idea what the solar buff is and don’t protect their mage.

Of course the entire reason we were even in that position was because people threw up their hands and gave up almost immediately so for a solid 10 minutes we were down at least 5 people, and had no healers.

Sure ya did buddy… That’s why you’re complaining so much? Stories don’t really add up.

if you choose to go into a random bg and expect to be playing with people you already have a problem in your thinking. Also people hate to lose so they have to blame others. its not taking responsibility also. We all get blown out in matches just as we all blow out the other team. So no if you go into a random bg you should not be shaming anyone. No one is holding a gun to your head if you que up, if some one is then ya have bigger problems!

What are you even talking about at this point? What club?
You screech that my experience doesn’t count because it’s all premades and rated groups, which I correct you and state that the majority of my time is solo. Then you’re ranting about pub stomping and forts and clubs. Does your brain hurt when you try to think? Take your meds, try to formulate a coherent thought, then come back and let us know what you’ve conjured up this time.

The person who arm chair psychologist’d their way into deciding how I behave in BG’s was you, champ. I was the one who went underground at snagged the solar buff which gave my whole team a 20% haste buff, I was the one who said we had fair odds of winning if we back door’d their mage, I was the one who actually snuck back there and finished the mage off.

I’ll admit I couldn’t have done it without the Horde’s help- they never bothered protecting their mage, they never caught on to the solar buff, they weren’t playing the objectives and they all but ignored our own mage- but winning is winning.

Oh heavens no, I expect to play with robots.

Well… Good for you there bud. You making the arm chair psychology easy for me too. My point is still valid. You go into a random you best expect to find what you get. Its random. You want top tier? You get your butt a top tier team. Learn to premade and maybe you get to win a lot more there bud.

They left too many bfa systems in the game for prepatch. Anyone who wants to get a feel for how an alt might play in bgs gets steamrolled before they can even try it out.

they also removed scaling, so now its gear vs gear, meaning this late in the day mythic raiders are facerolling everyone

this tbh. i love randoms they’re the majority of my pvp experience, but dang is it discouraging to watch a teammate get literally one shotted before my heal can even hope to save them. i don’t think they should be shamed, but i definitely don’t get how they’re having fun getting demolished.

absolutely wrong, most people on both sides definitely try even if they don’t really understand how to win/don’t have the gear to make a miracle play. i’ve never heard someone complain about a difficult come back win lol

The hazing is only going to get worse now that Shadowlands has revealed rated honor and title-gated upgrades.

I wonder what this thread will look like at the end of Shadowlands.

Once the expansion starts everyone is going to be largely at the same gear level for a while. Also, it’s not like you can only get versatility gear from rated PvP.
