ZG no, they just re-added the old patterns and stuff after a brief account wide unlock.
SM yes you just need a Scarlet Key which you can buy off the AH (or a friend who has unlocked it can go and get a key in the old SM Library once a week to sell or give to friends) this is also account wide unlock just like old Scholomance.

Yes and I can imagine it will be something like. The sword is pulled out of Azeroth and as a reward, the world heals itself and starts anew. Including all the destruction caused by Deathwing too.
I think it’s pointless if it’s just a revamp of zones for the purpose of leveling. People will go there once or twice to see what’s new and then go back to whatever the fastest leveling route is.
I want Zidormi in all pre-cataclysm zones.

But I would love to see them breath new life into the old world that still seems to think Deathwing arose yesterday.
I rather they add more or make it instanced. I have doubts on how well they would do considering the mess they made in cata.
IMO, the original zones are still the most iconic even after years of new content.
I would love if there was an overhaul of the old zones, but it would have to be a major redesign.
Even after the Cata overhaul, the zones never looked good from an aerial view. The jagged mountains and sharp biome changes are still ugly. And now that everyone moves around at 800% movement speed the zones are downright tiny.
I would love a major overhaul that gave these zones the same feel they had in 2005, but I doubt the pay off would be worth the workload.
