It’s so boring, just run to the end, cap towers. No real fighting even occurs. This is supposed to be a battleground.

Only the ones at the very end so we can attack the boss lol. It’s amazing how so much detail went into the experience and players want to do NONE of it.
I would enjoy AV more if some of the old objectives still mattered. I don’t want to go back to long hours or days long AVs but things like summon riders and the bosses was kind of cool. Gave AV some uniqueness. Now those things are there, and unless you have a premade doing them nobody does them minus maybe a few people for the rep. Such a waste.

som,etimes ill get a group of 5 homies going and we just charge straight into the enemies at mid. then we go backcap stuff like that
this is very fun for me i always have a great time and we get lots of pvp action
Queue with some tanks and you can skip even those!

AV is still the best epic BG. The lazy players are the problem. You can still play AV in an epic way with communities.
Yeah I want something to do besides just charge to the end. Should have stuff to do to give an extra advantage, like Ashran.
Pre scheduled NPC tuning passes (3?) which coincide with Gear Item levels as we progress through the season would help create the modern AV feels.

This is what I am going say the modern player wants more. The days of long BGs are kind of gone imo. It’s mostly the min/max efficiency mind set though. Long games don’t really provide anything but a long game. If they found a way to make all the objectives worth it, say give conquest for instance the first time you do it during the day/week or big bonus honor or even an honor chest. Maybe even give achievements of some kind. Who knows.
My thoughts overall is Epic BGs shouldn’t be the race to finish, those should be the normal BGs. But again it’s the mind set, unless they can do something to make it more rewarding to do objectives.
The whole premise of EPIC battlegrounds is based on EPIC battles, sometimes anyway. Right?
Buffing NPC’s would solve two of the fastest endings in game right now, it’s been done before. Come on now.
Designs create outcomes, in this case the faster Honor acquisition seems to be where it all leads to. With RSS being the MAJOR PVP (only even, if we go there) investment/promotion at this current time in DF. The faster players get that honor the faster they can join rated settings, is how it’s looking IMO ofc.
You know AV is in a bad state when you have to force the pvp.

Nah, it’s terrible in the current meta because everybody just runs past each other and games end in less than 10 minutes with like 5 kills on each side which are the handful of people who know what towers do.
Pugs, that’s what they do. I don’t understand why people complain about this yet attack communities.
