Do other Classic players who took a long break also have this issue?

Not unlucky. don’t blame the victim in this situation. Blizzard caused this.

Thats the entire problem with your posts. You’re playing the victim.

no one is “playing the victim” we are asking a company to restore something that was a bad decision on their part and has caused many to lose their time and progress and quite frankly have caused many to not resub for boning the players this way.

90%+ of the playerbase moved off of Era to go to BC. There was 600+ days worth of time for it to be shown the clone service was worth keeping, it didnt happen. It wasnt a bad decision.

If anyone can be credited with making bad decisions it would be you guys who quit the game or didnt pay attention to what was going on while the service was active.

You are one of the loudest complainers and yet you still have an active sub.

I’m sure blizzard will survive the lost of the people who weren’t playing for 600 days anyway.

I will absolutely not post the character I raid on. I use a sock puppet because I don’t feel like having weird people like yourself harass me in the game for things I’ve said here.

All those posts you see from those people are on toons they’re leveling, or at least a good amount of them. Meaning they’re contributing to the game world. I have a few friends that did clone and have absolutely nothing to do because of it. They do a few gdkps with their BiS geared toon, make like 20k, don’t have anything to do with it and then they’re off playing another game again. These people contribute nothing to era whatsoever. The less of them there are, the better.

So you remain anonymous so that your anonymous wow character doesn’t get messaged in game? You sound like a paranoid coward, but at least your honest about it.

Paranoid maybe, coward no. I just like keeping things consolidated. The things I say here stay here. The things I say in game stay there. Pretty simple.

Nobody is messaging you in game to talk about your bad takes on the forums. You have no credibility on that retail kook.

That’s your opinion. I wouldn’t say the things I do if I didn’t play the game.

Plenty of people who don’t play the game currently have opinions about it. Unsurprisingly they all post on retail accounts.

i want to continue leveling my other characters i was working on before they were moved. While i might not be able to get my 60 and other lvl 30’s back. i would consider releveling the 30’s and redoing their professions if i still had my 60 as a backbone to aid them and rebuild my profession synchonization. but to do it ALL from scratch, nah. Just because your friends do that with their 60’s doesn’t mean the rest of us are the same way…

Not outright. What happened to many people is that they did what most WoW players do, they took a break to wait on the new expac. While many took that break, they lost out on the option to move their toons over to the new expansion, then the servers got deleted, any toons left on those servers got deleted too.

They did give a huge, massive window of opportunity to move your toons over though, so if you lost any toons…its entirely your fault.

But you/they could move/clone them for the whole of the TBC expac, from the pre-patch of TBC to the start of Wrath, about 14 months. Choosing Era or TBC was free, the only thing you paid for was to have them on both Era and TBC.

This is the opposite of the truth. Doing anything other than play WoW is 99% of the time a good decision. You’re just a sloppy troll.

/10char

Wouldnt expect anything less from you. You only rebuttal people who don’t know your garbage sthick.

I imagine there is a crap ton of gold that got deleted.

If clones came back, prices would skyrocket overnight.

Of all the things that Blizzard communicated about, I’d say that they were at their best when it comes to this whole cloning thing. They gave us plenty of detailed notice with each step.

I guess its just a whacky coincidence that the clone threads surged with the increase in Era popularity. Another weird thing I noticed is 100% of the people asking for them took a long break and lost all communication with the outside world, were in the hospital or military deployment for years and lost communication with the outside world. None of them knew that cloning was even a thing.

Not a single poster is someone who just didnt clone because they thought Era was garbage and nobody was playing it as a result.

Weird, huh?
