Woot Iâm happy about it this. Ive always hated boosting. I feel like if your so bad at the game that the only way to get gear is to buy a boost then you shouldnât be playing an MMO.
Whatâs the point of having iLvl gear if you didnât earn it and have no idea how fights even work because you never did them to get the gear. You just sat there while everyone else in the boost did it for you.
I thought it would be something beneficial at first but all it benefits I feel is those who make the golf more so then the person who spends it and even then all it does is push people to buy more tokens to get the gold to buy a boost.
Now without this Iâm sure theyâll find ways around it but ultimately feel itâs healthier for the game.
If you want gear, join a guild and go out and earn it like how you had to back in 2004.

Iâm willing to be the vast majority of people boost or get boosted. Especially a certain goblin warlock and zan troll paladin who doth protest too much;)

I didnât participate because I donât agree with it. If someone canât earn gear the normal way of joining a guild or a pug or even LFR and actually earn it themselves they shouldnât be getting said gear. Earn it by actually doing the content.
If the content is boring then the gear isnât really needed then. Solo content doesnât need mythic level raid gear to complete. Mythic raid gear is so you can mythic raid. Run the raid, learn the fights, join a guild and earn the gear.

That crap needs to go back on the blackmarket and shameful like it always was. Good luck and have fun with having your credit card info stolen on those 3rd party sites.

The game will be fine as long as Blizzard stops adding so many barriers to entry before people can start enjoying the content that they actually want to play. Boosting communities are a symptom, but hopefully Blizzard will fully fix the problem through gameplay come 10.0.
The booster cope in this thread is off the charts.

Why are you typing? This doesnât impact you. If anything you should want the reverse, cause the only way you were ever killing a mythic end boss was through a boost.

I care, if you bought your KSM i would rather not play with you. I mean if you bought a superbowl ring, would you just expect an NFL team to want you to play for them?
I donât have to do something to agree or disagree with it. Ive never been sky diving but donât knock people down if they do. Just like I would never knock someone down because they didnât want to sky dive and I do.
