I know how to play. I’m just disabled and can’t raid so I like to buy a boost for the final boss of an expansion’s AotC mount since those are limited time and I can’t farm them later.
Clearly I’m the one ruining this game for everyone.

I would expect somewhat less anxious posts from someone allegedly “happy” about the hypothetical increase in price of a service he offers.
It’s almost as if you were not genuine about it.
You won’t suddenly get your dream of 2004 trade chat back.
Anyone around back then knows that trade chat was always a mess. Anel spam was the most obnoxious back then.
KSM is the problem. Get rid of KSM and alts should be able to use currency.
Have you considered that perhaps we buy boosts precisely because doing the content isn’t fun to us
Then don’t play it lol idk why people have to make up excuses about buying runs

Disabled people can get AotC on their own. I know several that do it every raid.
Good for you? Not all of us are equal. The inability for your side to meet our side is insane. I get why its getting banned we just disagree. Clearly you have much better things to do then be here on a forum you disagree with so bye bye

They make up excuses because it is against human nature to think poorly of yourself. This guy you quoted won’t face the fact that he isn’t very good at the game and instead convinces himself that he needs to buy boosts in a game that he apparently doesn’t even like.
Probably a good change all things considered.
MOST of the playerbase takes a dim view of the “industrial level”, Walmart-tier, mass-scale boosting that not only clogs/clutters up major chat channels but also has a direct negative effect on other fellow players in the case of PvP boosting.
The only people that seem unhappy with this policy change are the frequent boost-buyers that don’t even play the game anyways (…they’re paying other players to “play the game for them”). The “typical”, casual/GD’er boost-buyer that maybe buys an AOTC mount carry at the end of the expansion will be largely unaffected.
Not all of us are equal.
The only thing you said that was true.
Not all disabilities are the same and not every person has people that can/will accommodate their needs.
And your point being? Since you speak for all of us I’d like to hear you out

I like leveling in classic :]
It’s the #1 reason I play classic
I hate World of Scalingcraft
i don’t even know how to handle this good news

Blizzard
As the conditions change by which various entities operate in World of Warcraft, we are compelled to update our policies to further our goal of making the gameplay experience as fair and welcoming as possible. Since we last updated our policies, we have found that an increasing disturbance of the gameplay experience has been caused by organizations excessively advertising various non-traditional services in-game.
As of today, we will now prohibit organizations who offer boosting, matchmaking, escrow, or other non-traditional services, including those offered for gold. World of Warcraft accounts found to be in violation of this policy are subject to account actions. These actions can include warnings, account suspensions and, if necessary, permanent closure of the disruptive World of Warcraft account(s). Organizations operating across multiple realms and excessively advertising non-traditional in-game sales are contrary to the terms and conditions of the Blizzard End-User License Agreement (EULA).
This policy update does not restrict individuals or guilds from using the provided in-game tools (“trade channel” chat) to buy or sell in-game items or activities for in-game currency. However, “boosting communities”, especially those who operate across multiple realms, are no longer permitted.
We urge all such organizations to cease doing business in World of Warcraft immediately, in order to maintain uninterrupted access to the game.
Well ggs
Not all disabilities are the same and not every person has people that can/will accommodate their needs.
That is why it is important to meet people in MMORPGs and be part of a community. Make friends, they will help you get things done regardless of your limitations. That’s the bedrock this game and genre was built on.
All you anti boost people presenting to be happy right now, you all were probably the anti mage tower return brigade. I mean why have the ability to run older mythic raids? People worked hard to clear them now you’re one shotting bosses like you dont care about their feelings
Wait, let me get this straight…
So you’re actually willing to pay MORE to get content done you admittedly don’t like.
It’s like paying someone else to eat stuff you don’t like from your fridge.
This is insane!! What are these people thinking?
Yes and I also use addons to make my game easier shocker I know. Gold and the economy are part of the game too. Gold buys services, arguing a certain service is invalid doesnt make sense
Weird coming from you, when you’re hardstuck 2100 rbgs and 1900 in arena, and you can’t do any other form of content from the looks of your achieves (m+/raids etc)
