I just wanna blitz and arena minus the tox. Is that even possible these days?
The guild āCrackedā on Frostmourne has been non-toxic in my experience (my pvp alts are in the guild), Iāve been in the guild for all of dragonflight and Iāve seen no toxicity.
Iād recommend joining and see if it suits your fancy.
So no slurs or racist/sexist, various phobic remarks or stuff?
None that Iām aware of.
On top of that, I doubt the guild leadership would tolerate that kind of behavior.
Everybody that Iāve interacted with in the guild too has been pleasant.
But with that said I canāt speak for everybody, only what Iāve experienced within the guild.
The guild Iām in only has a few people interested in PvP right now, but we do not tolerate rude behavior and are friendly. Come join and help me build the PvP division for this guild
Iām genuinely surprised there is at least 1 person on Frostmourne not using slurs
This is literally why I created my guild, check out on Moon Guard. I have a few officers and all of them are in the same boat in regards to just keeping our guild a healthy community without toxicity. Weāre open to all skill levels too.
I think itās more than just a guild issue though. This is part of the big picture and why PVP is dying slowly over the years. You need new people to come into and enjoy it or more PVEārs to get into it. However, players that do try to get into it see the rudeness and just harshness of the community. The community as a whole is not like this and many will go out of their way to try and help, but obviously its all of the toxic crap that pushes people back into the PVE scene. Joining M+ groups or raids is almost always more chill, laid back and non-judgemental, excluding that one that always screws up the pull for the group on occasion, that person may get a little flak, but the group still loves em and carries on.
Iāve been pleased with this guild since I joined it like 3-4 months ago, only seen drama once and it got squashed immediately by an officer. itās split between PvE and PvP but it has plenty of PvP players at all times of day and of all levels of exp
also if you have 2400/glad you get 3k gold for free from the guild bank every day which is great for my transmog changing āhabitā
Thatās awesome! Do they accept cross realm people? Is it mainly horde or alliance? I can submit an application through the guild finder I think.
How would I join? That sounds very nice.
whisper me if youāre on, Iāll be on for a bit longer
I wonāt be on for some time. Family is visiting, but I will be later tonight.
Well, guess we can count Deadpool outā¦
āHarshness of the community?ā Ehā¦ I think people tend to demonize the PVP community a wee bit too much.
They do accept people cross-realm and the guild appears to be mainly alliance (although I donāt think anybody cares about factions per-se).
Iāll ask the next time I see an officer online for what the best way to join the guild is.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, I just had a chat with one of the officers and the guild is not open to recruitment atm.
They explained to me that in the past they would invite any PvPers but had to change that policy due to toxicity and now only invite members they know (which funnily enough is probably why nobody is toxic as we all more or less know each other).
Sorry about that, I wasnāt aware of this myself.
Hey no worries! If they ever want to get to know me more Iād be down. Feel free to whisper me in game anytime. :3 Xyrantha-Moonguard is my lock but I also play Druid, mage, rogue and leveling a DK rn.
I was in a guild named āit was my ideaā on Area 52 and they were great. didnāt experience any toxicity nor racism and guildies would do arenas with each other whenever someone asked in gchat. The only reason Iām currently not with them is because I started doing a lot of PvE and getting groups for that content is a lot easier in a guild.
got 1-3 hours before I get to some work tonight
