Had an epic battle for about 3 minutes last night. Horde seem to win the crates when numbers evening. Other wise it ends up 10 alliance to 1 horde, and I still kill 1 or two alliance then.
Side note I keep trying to change my avatar but it dont work in firefox ugh.

We are all on different server groups, some of them are dead.
Some of them have less Alliance.
But I feel like majority, especially the bigger servers, have a higher Alliance pop.
We get them yes, but weâre normally heavily outnumbered. The wins have a much more rewarding feeling when you win despite being heavily outnumbered :).
Iâm not sure how you can fix the faction imbalance, but maybe Blizzard could buff horde racials to get more people to faction change. Iâm lost on why cannibalism needs to instantly be cancelled by dot tics when out of combat for example and instead Iâm just stuck standing around for 20secs before I can feast on fresh alliance kill lol.

I donât think itâs faction balance, but when one side feels like they arenât going to get easy wins they opt out of even trying, and it causes a self fulfilling prophecy.

Yeah, what that person said is ridiculous. The population is exactly the problem. The more Horde there are, the more people likely to go for a crate. /facepalm

No. Itâs faction imbalance.

Theres a slight disparity, sure. But not as much as the one felt in Warmode. Why? Because horde isnt flagging or participating in fighting currently. Its a player created imbalance.
*edit: This is my realm group, forgot I was in the warmode forums. But Alliance outnumber us 8 - 1 in open world usually. But the populations do no reflect that. And im sure its like that most everywhere.
On the RP warmode shard, it really doesnât feel like Alliance outnumber Horde out in the world. I can find Horde everywhere, doing world quests, gathering, in the FFA PvP zones, in towns, etc. But when a crate drops, they are usually outnumbered 4 to 1 most times. They probably donât go for crates because they think nobody else is going to go for the crate either.
I donât know. You canât force people to turn on war mode, and you canât force them to get the crates.

Horde do best when the adults that have to work the next morning go to bed
On oceanic its usually 10+ alliance to maybe 1 horde if they show up. itâs horrendously bad on oceanic realms. But thatâs what happens when you âintroduceâ a warmode bonus to alliance all the way in BFA. Oce alliance had already dominated horde then, and continue to dominate now
It differs from server to server. In Azralon horde gets like 9 out of 10 crates maybe even more.
Def this, Horde has given up trying. They have psyched themselves into thinking itâs hopeless.
After a few more days of trying probably 30 or 40 more times since my first 100 or so. I still have managed to get 4 since launch. At this point and alliance alt could be fully geared with no combat engagement whatsoever. ThisâŚis ridiculously unbalanced. It shouldnât be this way.
Iâm going to make an alliance character for the free gear next seasonâŚI mean why not. Since they are literally just handing the alliance fully geared toons I may as well jump on the bandwagon. I can just use a character transfer when itâs done.

The extra bonus is based on population balance in war mode. The reason Alliance got a bigger bonus and sometimes the extra world PvP quest in BFA was because more Horde than Alliance were in war mode. Alliance were the outnumbered faction.
This is automatically balanced and changes on a week by week basis I believe. If Horde are outnumbered in war mode then they will get a bigger bonus.
Horde go for the crates⌠itâs just that they are outnumber 9-1 on most of the popular servers. the fact that blizzard allows such an imbalance is absurd. they need to offer free character transfers off of servers with more than a 70-30 balance and stop new transfers from joining factions on a server that is out of balance by more than 10%. this is an easy fix.
Itâs not based on servers, but sharding. A server can be 100% alliance and it doesnât matter for who you see out in the world.
RP servers have their own war mode shard. Thatâs the one I play on, and Alliance seems to outnumber Horde a bit but not that much when Iâm out in the world, but they never go for crates.
I donât know how the sharding works, but I can tell you that there are hardly any horde out in the open world on kil â Jaeden.
Sit at a herb node, u will see 10 horde druids bot herbing that shard. You can follow them, their flight paths are all the same.
