Do devs PvP?

Serious question .

Does the CEO of McDonalds eat his own food?

If McDonald’s was bad for you they wouldn’t sell it to us and WoW devs are passionate PvP players. It’s just illegal for them to divulge their character names.

The CEO of McDonald’s has a viral video of himself eating a burger and spitting it out in a napkin.

I’m always late ln viral stuff cause I don’t use social media. Gonna have to look that up if true.

There are a lot of devs that PvP and have the same feedback but don’t have the authority to make changes to the game.

I was gone for a bit wasn’t able to congratulate you for 19k posts, see you at 20!

Yeah, I noticed you were gone. Honestly was afraid you got deployed to Iran. Glad to see you’re okay.

Mandatory forum break for suggesting in parallel to the Darkspear pride thing we get a more Christian Easter event :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

What a crazy world we live in.

America is losing the battle to authoritarians.

LOL, lol, lOl, Lol,LOL, hahahaha, LOL……../em wipes a tear away…..

Sorry, what?

Ion Hazzikostass has a zero honor level. They blocked his char Gurgthock, an Rshaman from public view. He had zero honor level. Chris Kaleiki was the only PvP desinger/developer on staff, and he quit like 10 years ago and was never replaced. We’ve had zero representation since, they manage PvP via spreadsheets.

Its okay man they gave me a timeout because a “woman” had a mental health episode in a thread targeted at me

The answer to this is “yes”, in that they have a few employees who do actively pvp at a high level. However, any and all feedback/suggestions has to go through multiple corporate chains and even then can get shot down because people near the top don’t like the idea.

That explains everything . What a wuss he hasn’t even stepped in a BG.

Tbf Ion got the job because he was a lawyer and had the ability to theory craft on a next level in PvE as a raider. He could easily be a R1 player if he invested himself into it.

Ion got the job because he instantly said ‘yes’ when his corporate overlords said they need someone to seriously change system design and system goals to focus on the cash shop, mostly gold buying (the number one revenue source for wow) - in the words of kotick they wanted to stripmine wow for money on the way down

all of the founders were supremely uncomfortable with it, for obvious reasons
