Yeah it wasn’t supposed to be for over a week yet.
But if you go to goldshire it’s already being set up.
Well if it is the 18th, then I would expect we hear something after the Tuesday maintenance on the 4th, that would place the announcement 2 weeks ahead of the pre-patch day, which is on par for Blizzard.

That’s what I’m guessing that we hear news soon.
I suspect they just didn’t want DMF to be lined up with prepatch.

AH, yes, of course they moved up DMF, without telling anyone. Makes perfect sense.
No, they didn’t. It’s either a bug, or it’s always worked this way and nobody was paying attention.

I am just wondering but where can I go to track the DMF times? Not sure how people know the DMF was moved up.
OP, are we sure it is early? The DMF starts on the first Friday of every month. Doesn’t that put it on time if they are seeing it being set up now?
Oh wait you are right, setup was supposed to start on the 7th, not now. Yes it is early!
The DMF starts on the first Friday of each month, with setup appearing, It alternates each month between Horde and Alliance.
The DMF this month is Alliance and was scheduled to start on the 7th with setup.
So yes it is early, if the tents are already showing up, there should have been nothing till the 7th.

DMF is always at the first Monday of the month. And prepatch without ptr is unheard of.

Closes the following Sunday
But then shouldn’t it start this friday, not last friday? So that makes it a week early.

Correct it’s technically a week early.
It’s supposed to start being built on the 7th.
Start on the 10th.
And end on the 16th.
It’s a full week early.
I’m 100% right 50% of the time and this could be one of those times.

It was prolly an mistake because they had to make an adjustment for may, otherwise it’s on schedule, exactly 4 weeks after last one.
It’s starting only 3 weeks after the last I believe.

You are correct, if it opens tomorrow, then it will have only been 3 weeks.
April’s DMF ended on the 11th not the 5th. It is 4 weeks after the last one ends.
