This game is way too easy, to the point that it’s almost not fun. If the whole game is kill stuff, get xp and get more gear, there should at least be a challenge.
If we start acknowledging things like different people having different opinions we’ll have to put actual effort into our snarky criticisms of each other. That is definitely not the classic experience.
What’s your tactic? I got so demorized yesterday when I found out lashers are nature immune. Do you go in bear form and swipe them? Do you use DPS gear or tank gear? Help a fellow druid out.
First it was “ZOMG the game is too EZ cuz MC/Ony was cleared in 1st week by people who weren’t even all 60s in subpar greens and no FR gear!!!”
And now it’s “GG Blizz the game is harder cause DM isn’t farmable…where’s muh vanilla experience???” QQ moar.
You can’t have it both ways here, so which is it then? The game is too easy or the game is too hard?? Y’all need to make up your minds ROFL
You’re just butthurt because you didn’t realize that DM was already hotfixed to no longer be farmable BEFORE patch 1.12 and you forgot. OR…you’re a private server player who farmed DM on those all the time and got accustomed to it and lulled into thinking that’s how it was on the live servers during vanilla.
You and all the players like you are merely suffering from some major rose tinted glasses and/or the Mandela effect. Either way, your tears are delicious
No it was ported. And no it’s not a retail client since Legion is no longer retail since the advent of BFA.
Classic runs on the 7.3.5 client from the Legion era in order to be able to communicate with the battlenet network. But that has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that DM has been changed to prevent solo farming.
The changes to DM to prevent mages/hunters/locks from solo farming DM came prior to 1.12. Therefore, since Blizzard has given us the 1.12 version of everything else thus far, it’s clear that DM wasn’t going to be any different.
Anyone who actually thought otherwise is incredibly naive and deluding themselves. This falls under the #nochanges rule and has nothing to do with the Legion client that Classic runs on
Yes, but also following the “historical” changes through to Naxx. I only point this out because there seem to be a lot of over-literalists who can’t understand what #nochanges actually means. The actual game is going to have many changes - 6 phases of them. But all those changes are going to align as closely as possible given the changes in tech to the original history of Vanilla.
