DLAA/DLSS or DLSS3?

Yep. But the RTX 5090 is 20-28% better performance at only 200-300w over the 4090. Its a technological marvel

In all seriousness though its quite a amazing the 5090 is doing what it is at only HALF THE SIZE as the 4090. It will be the go to card for ITX Builders & Enthusiast

RTX 5090 has 33% more cores, and uses 33% more power than the 4090 to go 33% faster at 4k although the difference seems to drop as the resolution is less demanding looking at the TPU review. Add on the top of that, spikes of close to 650w and for more money than my first car. Performance wise it’s impressive and like you said it’s a slightly ittier and bittier package. Value wise, :face_with_diagonal_mouth:.

You better get it Mr. Swifty! You have a reputation to uphold!

:dracthyr_lulmao:

Yeah paying an xtra 2k for 20-28% increase makes a lot of sense.
Ill skip it. Waiting on the 6090.

I will however buy the Ryzen 9 9950x3D the day it drops!

Will you get the 6090 Super? Gonna go all the way?

Thoughts of the 9950X3D have me drooling like

Have you ever posted any pics of your system? I want to see them so that I and my empty bank accounts can live vicariously through your giga chad alpha pumper rig

Which ram exactly do you have and how much?

So sweet.

You could put a saddle on that rig and ride it like a bronco around the rodeo!
If that sweet system were a dancer, she’d be swingin’ on a pole of gold!
If it were a bird, it’d be an eagle!
If it were a muppet it’d be a snuffalufagus! :trophy:

I award you the 3-piggeh salute

oh and I’m looking over the hwinfo specs, most of it’s way over my head but I’m getting what I can from it. Is that 36100 a bench result? Jeezus. What bench is this

edit: nevermind, I didn’t have the window right lol I had it all zoomed in for some reason and couldn’t see it all. Swarf brain fully active!

Cinebench 2024. The 36100 is my GPU score

Oh my God my vocabulary is inadequate to praise this.

Just insane. MADNESS!!

Same TBH.

Waiting on the 6090 and whatever the zen 6 x3d chip is called.

waiting to see what the 9600X3D/9700X3D perform like otherwise may wait for the Zen 6 versions or even Nova Lake. Games that I want to play are not that CPU demanding (or even GPU)

Hey Shifty, can I see your Passmark scores?

Haven’t done any. Im not much of a benchmark person. At the end of the day I care about 2 things. 1 of them is definitely quite silly but I care about it nonetheless.

  1. It does everything I need and then some
  2. It looks Pretty

When I do new build or upgrade my rig I just use Cinebench 2024 more to judge how Im performing compared to the “Average Baseline” that way I know within minutes if I have any parts Underperforming. If Im at average or better I pack up and start playing games.
