Yep. But the RTX 5090 is 20-28% better performance at only 200-300w over the 4090. Its a technological marvel
In all seriousness though its quite a amazing the 5090 is doing what it is at only HALF THE SIZE as the 4090. It will be the go to card for ITX Builders & Enthusiast
RTX 5090 has 33% more cores, and uses 33% more power than the 4090 to go 33% faster at 4k although the difference seems to drop as the resolution is less demanding looking at the TPU review. Add on the top of that, spikes of close to 650w and for more money than my first car. Performance wise itâs impressive and like you said itâs a slightly ittier and bittier package. Value wise, .
Will you get the 6090 Super? Gonna go all the way?
Thoughts of the 9950X3D have me drooling like
Have you ever posted any pics of your system? I want to see them so that I and my empty bank accounts can live vicariously through your giga chad alpha pumper rig
wow! I love those pics! Wowwww so pretty. And sorry I donât keep up with things as well as I should. I do good to find my way back home when I go out. Swarf brainâŠ
Have you listed all your system specs anywhere, like the whole list of components up to and including the kitchen sink? I wanna see!
holy bejeezus that is just straight nerd gasm level
Which ram exactly do you have and how much?
So sweet.
You could put a saddle on that rig and ride it like a bronco around the rodeo!
If that sweet system were a dancer, sheâd be swinginâ on a pole of gold!
If it were a bird, itâd be an eagle!
If it were a muppet itâd be a snuffalufagus!
oh and Iâm looking over the hwinfo specs, most of itâs way over my head but Iâm getting what I can from it. Is that 36100 a bench result? Jeezus. What bench is this
edit: nevermind, I didnât have the window right lol I had it all zoomed in for some reason and couldnât see it all. Swarf brain fully active!
waiting to see what the 9600X3D/9700X3D perform like otherwise may wait for the Zen 6 versions or even Nova Lake. Games that I want to play are not that CPU demanding (or even GPU)
Havenât done any. Im not much of a benchmark person. At the end of the day I care about 2 things. 1 of them is definitely quite silly but I care about it nonetheless.
It does everything I need and then some
It looks Pretty
When I do new build or upgrade my rig I just use Cinebench 2024 more to judge how Im performing compared to the âAverage Baselineâ that way I know within minutes if I have any parts Underperforming. If Im at average or better I pack up and start playing games.
