disappointment. this is the word. I returned to the game two weeks ago after stopping at the start of BFA. at that time with 389 ilvl I have to sweat blood to render what other DPS with less ilvl can beat. sad. I thought it had improved, but I was wrong, I have another 2 weeks of play and I must stop again.

I don’t understand why they have like 47 thousand different types of currencies, or that we’re forced to PvP (I’m fine with it, my girl isn’t. Just a example ) or that there are literally impossible tasks like the betrayer quest. Yeah it isn’t impossible but you cannot just survive through it.
Either way, they should fix base problems instead of whatever they’ve been working on.

Oh, there are no instances when you cannot get to certain flight points that you don’t get tagged for PvP when you try to reach them? Or achievements? C’mon guy.
Not to mention if you like collecting sets.or mounts.or leveling alts faster.or some pets (without cross factioning). Or PvP pet battle achievements.
pvp rewards are meant for people who pvp, not as a challenge for your collecting game. if you don’t want to pvp you don’t have to, its your own obsession with filling out your collection or getting that achievement that drives you, not blizzard forcing you to pvp.

You and I both know you just described every aspect of the game. It’s always been desire.
But if a person wants any of that stuff or certain titles then PvP is required. Maybe it should be. But maybe like everything else in the game, there should be alternative ways of getting.
Not saying it should be easier than PvP but still alternatives.

no, if i bust my a$s in pvp to get a reward, you should not have access to the same reward via a non-pvp method.
and again, pvp rewards are for pvpers, not collectors, if you want to collect the pvp rewards, then you need to pvp.

blizzard: “hey guys, i have a prize for the PVErs, and one for the PVPers, and one for the Pet battlers, and even one for the PVP pet battlers.”
you: “blizzard, I want all their prizes, but i don’t want to have to do their work, its hard”
the problem is that you feel you are entitled to the pvp rewards, you feel that you are supposed to be able to get that reward because it is there, and since you can’t earn it the way it is intended to be earned, you demand that it be given to you anyway via alternate means. stop thinking you should have that reward because you are a collector and start thinking you need to earn that reward.

but here’s an idea, i want an olympic gold medal, i’m certainly not an olympic athlete, so they should provide a “hard” challenge that i can pass, but most people can’t, that way i can get this gold medal too. i need one for my collection.
No I don’t but o.k. let’s see… first, there are several paths to several rewards. For instance I’ve seen PvP rewards for sale on ah. O, oh, ohh no. All your hard work is crappy reason for anything on this game. Same for pet battle PvP pet battle and achievements. I’ve bought several of them on ah.

It hasn’t been the same. People collected legendaries in old content. Even in Legion I went back for some of the trinkets.

what do i do with shadowmourne? oh right, i dust it off every once in a while and hit up the test dummy to see the animation.
every patch you go to a new raid, get new gear, your ilvl goes up, once your ilvl is beyond what drops in a raid and you have cleared it, you move on. blizz has tried from time to time to make things last longer, MoP legendary cloak was an example of that, but the reality is 99% of all items you get will be vendored and forgotten the moment you get a better one.
I’m not going to specify because 1, it doesn’t matter and 2 I never said it was either of them. The point was there is more than 1 way to get it.
I mean I’ve also bought bennax before I knew you could just fight him in meredil.
The point is, they shouldn’t force people to PvP. It cheapens it for the people that like it and provides an impossible task for people that are not any good at it or don’t like doing it in any capacity

again, who is forcing you to pvp? blizzard? are they putting a gun to your head and saying you must go pvp and get that reward? (no, they aren’t)
the requirement for the Felfire Hawk is 250 mounts usable by a single character, the requirement is not collect 250 pets. why? because the mount is a reward for mount collecting, not pet collecting. raid drops are for raids, and pvp rewards are earned from pvping.
yes, many, if not most players will not have the skill to get the pvp rewards, but that doesn’t mean that those rewards should be given out by some alternative means, those rewards are meant specifically for players with that pvp skill, as a way to show off to other players that they do have that skill and reached a certain level of play during a certain season. they are not meant as mandatory items for filling a collection.

no it isn’t, but each item has it’s requirements that you need to meet to unlock them.
And they should have a requirement. But that wasn’t the issue.

I enjoy playing my Lock a lot more then this DK. But every time i log on an alt I feel like just logging off and going back to my DK for the only reason that everything I have accomplished in this game has been mostly on this toon. And when im on a different toon i feel like i must go do all that again if i was ever to change.
This is not the class I fell in love with back in cata. it has been changed a lot since then and blizzard makes me feel like im forced to play this toon.
