Whats the hardest counter to DKs in PvP in 3.3.5? I’m assuming Hunters? Or is it Rogues and Ferals?
Palidan. Ret palidan is op 1v1. I am pretty sure bkizz did this to live out the roleay fantasy of the evil dead deathknight vs the holy saviour palidan. Palidin is beyond op. U will see from prepatch what a joke they are.
Any healer is going to be difficult to 1v1 by any class though. Resto druid is probably best. Next to impossoble to solo. And disc priests will be nuts also.
Dks are good, but they’re not gods in late wrath.
Most ranged get really strong by the end of wrath and damage gets really nutty. Melee will get a ton of ArP as well, and start melting plates.
One thing to watch out for in arenas on a dk is a “cold start”. Like vs rmp if you get opened on before you can get in combat to get any runic power you can quite easily get deleted without being able to do much defensively.
But yeah hunters are very strong vs dks… Ele is just very strong but dk are also good against them in return. Boomy is also tough for a dk. Lock /mage /shadow are all easier, but can still be problematic, mage more so than lock or shadow. Rogues and warriors can be trouble if being healed, but 1v1 the dk should be fine. Ret are the hardest melee 1v1… Feral are imo #2… Blood dks are rare but they’re tough for any melee and the easiest for any ranged /caster.
Well for pvp you will likely want to roll human, and while dk might counter dk, I would think that given the way dks work any class which might be able to remove diseases so maybe enhance if they have a disease cleanse totem up.
