Does anyone else have this issue? I can barely read on the computer or the phone before I start to get dizzy. Especially when I’m scrolling down, each time I scroll, I get this eye strain sensation. I get new prescription glasses every year and it doesn’t help. I can see clearly, but I just can’t read or I can’t watch movies or videos for too long.
I’m sure others experience it but that isn’t normal… should be something a specialist checks out.
You should probably have your vision checked at a minimum and visit your doctor soonish.
Do they filter blue light? Because that could be your issue if it only happens when you spend a lot of time staring at screens.
I know it’s socially incorrect but… your age would play a HUGE factor in this.
Regardless of anything, even the most well-meaning person on GD is nothing compared to going to see an optomatrist (sp) asap.
Some vision things are just your script. Or your age.
And some… are diseases, etc.
You need to have your eyes checked by a PRO. Not get the opinions of us monkeys here.
No, but that isn’t normal, you could need a better glasses prescription or it could be an underlying issue either way, check it out with a specialist.
This right here is offensive and socially incorrect. We are experts and in fact, we’re better than most medical doctors. We know everything about everything
Might be vertigo.
Are you taking Veeaggraa, like, 8 at a time?
Cause that would do it, too. Don’t worry about your lack of vision, you’ll be quite popular.
I wished. Not cheap though
Some people need glasses for both distance and reading. Somehow it’s possible. But like the others have said, see a doctor bc that isn’t supposed to happen.
He didn’t need blue pills.
Force Bonyers > all
Ask Padme.
Sounds like you have motion sickness.
This could be a whole lot of things.
Anything from eyesight, to motion sickness if your reading on a bus of car, to a blood pressure issue when you’re sitting down, to even a blood clot in your occipital lobe… really there’s a whole slew of things this could be ranging from life threatening all the way down to completely harmless.
What you need to do is see a doctor and get medical advice from him.
(and I know this is [or should be] obvious but do not take medical advice from a video game forum)
You did not eat your carrots as a kid like your mother told you to! Now you have hyper photosensitivity!
I’m not a doctor but I stayed the night at a Holiday Inn.
That being said be careful because it might cause seizures.
I’ve been to countless optometrists so far and 3 opthalmologists. I’m getting referred to a neuro-opthalmologist. I was hoping maybe someone has this and can tell me what’s going on.
Do you have a blue light filter in your prescription lenses? That’s helped a lot with my eye strain. I also have a blue light filter on my phone.
I mean, my vision blurs whenever I am tired but being dizzy just from reading alone? That’s a more out of place condition, I’d probably see your eye doctor.
Dizzy from simply reading the forums?
Never heard of this
What medications/pills are you taking? Could be some sort of side-effect from those
When making these “what’s wrong with me?” posts it’s so so important to include the details, if asking for advice from strangers is your goal - the audience isn’t mindreaders

He said he’s already been to multiple eye doctors/specialists
Very strange for sure
I was hoping with this many people on this site, someone or know someone with the same issue and have a solution. I also can’t see the details on the debuff on the top right of the screen or anything a few inches from where I"m looking at. I can’t see the hotkeys at the bottom when I’m playing, I have to have a UI set up right where my character is.
