Disturbing IcyVeins article

So, as stated, I just finished a rather disturbing IcyVeins article and am wondering if this truly is an ongoing issue or if they are just reporting a bit late.

But, according to the article, a player reported on Reddit having 20 Hero Talent Points which means they couldn’t save changes to their build because they can’t spend 20. Making the character unplayable. And, according to the article, this has been an issue for 5 months and Blizzard support just keeps saying report it again we’ll tell the devs.

Has anyone run into this issue? And if so has it been resolved or are you still waiting to be able to play a character because of the “too many Hero Talent Points bug”?

I really don’t know.

I can say though I have not run into this at all, even in beta and early access.

Honestly this is first I’m hearing of this if it was a bug or something else.

To be fair about Reddit. I’ve seen alot of posts there with misinformation on several things.

I agree, Reddit isn’t usually a reliable source of news on any source. But I feel like IcyVeins doesn’t publish articles like this that are unwarranted.

I appreciate your insight, my best guess has this at less than a 1% chance for this to happen to anyone on talent changes. Maybe even as low as less than 0.1% chance because I think I remember something like this at the beginning of season 1 but that was a one time occurrence as far as I knew

I don’t think “disturbing” describes this at all, what a weird way to present this issue.

There’s a post about this in the forums. I read it in here yesterday or the day before. Pretty sure it’s from the same account, and someone else reported the same thing in the comments.

That same dude posted on the forums about his hero talents as he’d been asked to by the dev’s.

Why we needed another drama llama speech about it I don’t know.

This was foretold. It is the second of nine signs.

I was asking for information instead of trolling through the forums archives to find a specific post in a specific forum.

You wanna cause drama feel free. Idc :joy: I’ve gotten the information I came for

Half of Reddit posts are by bots.

The other half are fake stories made up by teens and also adult sociopaths in order to get attention.

Out of curiosity what word would you have used instead?

What’s the perfect word to describe something that could be season ending but is purely speculation from your perspective? Theres no need to cause panic about something that might not even happen or be a thing. Especially when my point was to gather further information so I don’t freak people out.

And yet you did it anyway

You’re always trolling this forum. Your information is found in the support article if you had simply searched.

I would call it a major issue, or playability issue or something. This isn’t a guy holding children in a locked room in his basement, this is a video game.

There has been zero reports of this from what I’ve seen. No one in game, no one on here, and while I don’t frequent the reddit I haven’t seen it there either.

Is there any evidence or anything? Have they made a bug report? Are they just asking GMs to fix it despite GMs not being able to?

There’s a lot of variables here.

A bug.

Lets not be dramatic.

It’s probably a late response. It’s Icy Veins. They are good for a blueprint, but not much more. Horrible resource lol.

It’s BS…

The guy who claimed this never even provided pic for proof.

This is incorrect.

It was posted on Reddit. He couldn’t post images here. And there’s literally a support article on it.

OP knows this and just wanted to make a new hot button thread on it.
