I don’t play on pservers. I played on the original vanilla servers. There is so much misinformation regarding dishonorable kills.

They do not prevent griefing. They simply do not.
They are not pvp related. DKs are from killing NPCs.

The point I was trying to make in my post is that DKs didn’t solve the problem they intended to (farming quest givers/vendors and griefing lower levels), they simply made it so people who care about PvP can’t world PvP.

If you’re No Changes that’s great. I just don’t think that making civilians invulnerable or untargetable by the opposing faction has any impact on the gameplay at all. What it does solve, is making world pvp not cripplingly punishing for those who care about the ranked system.

This is the logic for not including DK this time around. The implementation for it can be made obsolete by making essential NPCs unkillable by greifers.

I honestly don’t recall it’s been so long but I do remember having an alt just for the purpose of city raids.

As much as I don’t like the idea of a DHK, it’s part of the game and I want as faithful a recreation as possible.

I believe the tagger should receive the DhK, and the penalties. Being in the same group shouldn’t hurt the group.
