Dishonorable Kills for Lowbie Killing Scum

It’s annoying, sure, but this is a faction war, and that’s what war mode is all about

Gankers are cowards yes, but it happens a lot with warmode on, I personally gank ppl which lvl ends with number 9 why? Because I hate twinks and I love to do to them what they do to other players in bgs, out of that scum I do not kill lvlers or Quest npcs

Me personally I don’t care if you’re level 120 or level 10. If I see you and warmode is on I’m fighting ya.

Gotta sew the seeds of faction hatred in early.

That’s what drives 40+ people to Zerg a capital.

Best post.

But you are whining.

OK so I haven’t read past your post, but no doubt this has already been said, just turn of WM dude.

On PVP servers, now WM on. It is not considered griefing, and has
alwayd been acceptable under the PVP rule set.

That was put in place back in vanilla and didn’t work because a few low level players would attack max character in order to give the a dishonourable kill. They won’t try that again.

man… you supply me with 2 COMMENTS from people on mmo champ and reddit as your proof that they punish for corpse camping?

yea im just not going to take someones comment as evidence that they were banned or suspended for ganking. also whats that? 6 years ago? Id like a blue post or an email or something that can actually hold water.

The second post is from someone killing a quest giver. Depending on the type of server…again 6 years ago…killing a quest giver over and over does have consequences. But not other players.

Just saying you got any more “evidence?” cause those two weren’t.

Blizzard’s Code of Conduct https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/42673

Behavior that intentionally detracts from others’ enjoyment (such as griefing, throwing, feeding, etc.) is unacceptable. We expect our players to treat each other with respect and promote an enjoyable environment. Acceptable behavior is determined by player reports and Blizzard’s decision, and violating these guidelines will result in account and gameplay restrictions.

Not going to bother with more then this as I’ve said google is that way > if you can’t learn to use it then I can’t help you. And frankly arguing with you is like having a flat earther ask repeatedly how the earth can cause the phases of the moon after you’ve already shown that the earth has nothing to do with the shadow being cast.

As far as the age of the post that was the point. I will direct you to the original comments

Note the word PAST this is why I deliberately chose older posts. To show you that in fact it has been punished in the past. And so you couldn’t accuse me of making the stories up which you tried to do anyway.

Look the only reason I posted in this thread was because you declared that being griefed was punishable in the past was fake news without checking. I admire skepticism, we should question the validity of everything, but continued denial in the face of evidence is a horrible practice and I try to put a stop to it wherever I see it. Because other people will come along and see you declaring a falsehood and believe it without checking it themselves, eventually leading to conformation bias at which point its near impossible to change someones mind. And while this topic may be relatively harmless others such as vaccinations are not.

If there is one thing I would have people take away from our exchange it is to check and verify anything you hear before you believe it.

When BFA first launched I remember 110s running around 2-3 shot max level characters.

I felt that pain, now I am sharing my pain. Plus as a rogue it’s our duty to gank

troll lol. my bad i didnt smell you at first.

you brought up harmful vaccinations lolol

Trolling no.

Though the use of my language there was ambiguous so I apologize for that. That people believe that vaccines are harmful and avoid them is the harm that is caused by not verifying facts before belief.

I think you have a great idea, I think blizzard isn’t going to be the ones to implement it though, seems like you have some places to be clearing to protect your lowbes. I wouldn’t be opposed to a special bounty system that flags a person for killing a newb and gives an increase to the bounty hunters HK rating for completing the kill.

But to say that blizzard must step in and stop something like that from happening would be too much intervention and would slow down conflict between the factions.

If you turn on the war mode you are a fair game. I don’t care about your level. I see a player in WM, I attack. I don’t care about your class, HP, skill. I just attack. It’s the point of WM and it is more fun then arena.
I do hate campers though. I think if you kill the same person more then 2 times whithin 1 he you should get some kind of debuff

Dishonor debuff : At 120 prevents you from entering warmode for 45min when killing more than 3 players below lvl 120 include the same target.

Oh man that would be warmode announcement all over again hahaha sure loved to see the gankers cry when warmode was announced teheehee git gud git rekt

You should go dirty dance that mean opinion outta here!
Also, dishonorable points is a dumb idea.

The only suggestion I can think of to fix being over camped, is to have a player who’s been killed a few times, simply switch shards. To them, it would appear as if the other player left!

So… what you are saying is that a person can gank a low level toon three times every… 45 minutes? Interesting but it does not seem like a concept Blizzard would go for imho.
Sorry but I don’t exactly get what you mean in your second paragraph. :peace_symbol:

There was a big uproar about warmode when it was announced. Personally I hated the idea because it stomps on server identity for just another instanced bg type scenario where you’re pretty much fighting nobodies.

And yeah I’d be ganking like crazy if they brought back dishonorable points.

You claim this, but it reads as such.

There’s nothing great about your idea. It has so many problems I’m not sure where to begin. What happens during a city raid some lowbie decides to turn warmode on and step into a max leveled characters aoe?

Instead when ganking occurs let’s just go with war happened in warmode and move on.

On top of that, a 115 player still has better stats and access to legiondaries that a 120 does not.

Moral of the story is if you want to play with warmode on, you have to accept the consequences, fair or not.
