You know that one dude maxxed out at 120 who ogles a level 115? Chases him around, saps, or maybe even stuns a few times to give them a scare?

He’s a funny dude. But when they get around to incessantly ganking, camping, or just being toxic in general when you’re -trying- to get to a decent level at which you can fight fairly… why don’t we make them suffer from that?

This isn’t a whine post, but an idea for people to toss around and toy with. Don’t really expect it to come to fruition, but here it is: simply cause people who murder characters with a lower level than you to lose a bit of honor. If it’s the same target within a short amount of time, multiply the original reduction and SLAP them in the face! Sounds great, yeah?

Now, I’m aware you don’t -have- to level in warmode and getting ganked is part of the experience. Still doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be great to punish scummy players like that, (even myself if I get a bit greedy), and force them to seek -actual- competition. What do y’all think?

The 115 should have farmed up some Legion Legendaries and then turned and wrecked the 120.

Yeah I would like this. People would complain though about how they can’t get easy kills.

No amount of skill will let you kill a 120 with a level 30.

You rang? Lol, I jest. You do realize that if you create a “dishonor” system that there will be weird people (like me) that will actually want to max it out. Which means that this will increase ganking lol. :dagger:

A disincentive for being a jerk should have been implemented years ago. Not sure if 5 levels is enough but certainly 120 attacking 100 is done for no reason but the gank.
Of course lowbies would figure out how to reverse this and go running into legit battles where they get tagged and someone gets a dh they didn’t deserve.
But I like the idea

no no thanks they did that once and people trolled people and groups into dishonorable kill, some people purposely went out of their way to get as many as they could like it was a badge of honor.

here is what you do, go a rest area and switch off warmode.

They already did something like that. Then they dropped it, so you won’t see it again.

The issue was “dishonor kill reversed griefing”, or something.

“Warmode”, which is only an ON/OFF PVP switch, is their fix for everything; You can turn it OFF, so it covers all complaints. This is the exact point of Warmode, for it to be a customer service PVP fix all. It is just dressed up as something else.

just turn WM off if u dont like it. How hard is that? Rogues are cheese class we all know this, and we know anyone who makes one is a loser IRL so just dont worry about it.

I do enjoy warmode, especially at max level. It’s pretty fun to get out and dirty, see how things unfold.

One of the better ideas I saw in regards to this would be a bounty type system where you get flagged. Kind of like in warmode in Kul Tiras or Zandalar if you kill a certain number of people you get flagged and marked on the map for the other faction to hunt down. But instead it’s for gankers in old world zones and it gets announced to any max level in the surrounding areas for honor bonuses etc.

Such a stupid idea. Turn off warmode. If we implemented this idea it would turn an army of 30s into a much greater threat than an army of 120s.
